You complaint. He is working hard on this. At least you can do is learn how to do it. Don't say "Oh man". Thats an insult to him and his hard working. SMH.

Nothing wrong with his work whatsoever, its good work, everyone has a different opinion.
I appreciate his work im just waiting till it's further improved so I can use it in a more stable build.
I understand this is only in beta currently and I probably could've worded that better, I was just bummed out that Im not able to use this launcher to its full capacity.

Love this, it looks awesome ! I also get the crash when I use L+R+Select. I'm on 8.0.0 and latest Atmosphere, if that can help. I have a question (maybe a stupid one) ; how do I save? I tried booting into a game after saving my progress and lost all of it. Also, would you mind sharing the NRO icon so that my fowarder looks legit? Thanks for your work!

New release with no more crashes on exit. It was a classic "Works on my machine" bug I failed to account for. My apologies, but this is a beta after all.

SNES Classics Beta 5a has been released!
How to install:
- Copy the contents of the sdmc folder to your microsd card and launch via the homebrew menu
- Add roms by either replacing the stub smc files in the rom folder or add your own by modifiyng the database.json file as necessary

What's new:
- Fixed a major issue where the program crashes when returning back to the home menu. There was something I failed to account for in my code running on my machine versus what was sent out.
- Nothng else. I'm in the process of doing a major refactor right now so I can open source this software.

I added several games easily in 1 hour with covers well made but I think that the reason for not include real roms in the original pack is copyrights, if you want only covers and json file for 35 games instead of 21 then let me know.

one_player_icon.png
simultaneous_player_icon.png
two_player_icon.png

I don't like purple buttons. That's all I need for UK/Japan replace gamepad icons.

oh man.. that'll take me a decade. Might just stick to PSNES
.json files can be edited in non-destructive text editors. notepad++ is always best. notepad if you'd like to use native tools, and atom if you're on osx.

Shouldn't take long to figure out what to copy, duplicate, replace the name of that rom with the name of your rom, change the other details, then save. Be sure to put a .png box-art of the same name in the boxart folder. Should be good to go, unless I'm missing a step or two.

oh yeah lol. a script would be nice. only thing that'd slow things down is determining is the sram part. and boxart.

though scrolling through that many might get tiring. I'd imagine it'd take an annoying amount of time to scroll through.

It looks almost perfect but lots of pixel on it and transparent is not perfect. Thanks for trying. I will wait for someone that have them perfectly. Good job, thought. :D
