Hacking Nintendon't wont show all games and

using nd from the wiiu's vwii by sd i deleted the nincfg trying to get the other isos to show but ended up with default settings after fixing them about 4 times and days wondering whats wrong with the isos and broke settings. any is help appreciated. nd is up to date and its the 5.53 or last update if that info helps. ps sorry if this has already been figured out ive been looking for 3 days and haven't found something to work

Below is a copy and paste from the Nintendont thread HERE on GBATemp that explains the SD CARD layout for GC ISO's.

Game on SD Card

The game path expected by Nintendont is :
SD:/games/whatever you want/game.iso
SD:/games/whatever you want/disc2.iso

The non-bold part need to be written exactly like you see it above (the filename is not the game's title, but the 4 letters "g+a+m+e")
If a game has two discs, the second ISO needs to be placed in the same folder than the first disc's ISO, and named to "disc2.iso".
Only the bold part "whatever you want" need to change.

For better compatibility with other loaders, you can put Game's Title and GameID in that part, like this :
SD or USB:/games/Zelda Wind Waker [GZLP01]/game.iso
SD or USB:/games/Tales of Symphonia [GQSEAF]/game.iso
SD or USB:/games/Tales of Symphonia [GQSEAF]/disc2.iso

For users who still don't understand that "game" doesn't refer to the game's title but to the single word "game":
/games/Zelda Wind Waker [GZLP01]/Zelda.iso <--- WRONG
/games/Zelda Wind Waker [GZLP01]/game.iso <--- Correct
/games/Tales of Symphonia [GQSEAF]/disc2.iso <--- Correct

If you don't know the GameID, you don't need to use it.
/games/zelda/game.iso is working too.

i found out that it doesn't use compressed isos so figured that out but any clue how to fix it when it keeps reverting the settings?

When you change any setting within Nintendont, you MUST boot a game for the settings to save, if you just change the settings and exit Nintendont, the settings will NOT save.

I cant remember on the top of my head but there is a really good app on the PC that you can use to create your Nintendont settings.

Added Notes:
You can't compress your GC ISO's using WinZip, etc....You need to compress your GC ISO's using one of the following tools:
GCMUtility 0.6: Click HERE for more info and download.
DMToolbox v0.3: Use google for download file.

Before you use any of the above compression tools, it's recommended to go to the Nintendont Compatibility List site HERE, pay attention to the Notes column, if it says to use DMToolbox, then use it, if it doesn't then use GCMUltitily app. Also the shrunk column will let you know how much the game can shrink down to.

Have you tried deleting the Nintendont config file "nincfg.bin" on the root of your SD CARD and let Nintendont create a new one?

If that still doesnt work, have you got another SD CARD to test? If not, backup your SD CARD, reformat and copy everything back and test.

is it the same as ninten.cfg

It's nincfg.bin the same file that you circled in your picture, delete this file, boot into Nintendont, boot a game so it can create another nincfg.bin file. Then exit game and try changing a setting, boot game and reboot again to see if the settings have saved.

You will not see the .bin because your windows is set to hide file extensions for known/common files.

hasn't worked gonna have to delete and copy the files most likel;y because ive deleted the file more than once with no avail. but thank you for your support.

thanks but was fixed had it ninbin and then it made a new one and worked also sorry for the wait was away for the weekend also congrats on the wii data base.
