Thanks man that worked and honestly, I like that way better. Love the app btw. Literally the coolest piece of save Homebrew I've seenI moved the /EdiZon folder to /switch/EdiZon to clean up the root a bit. Move it over and it should work again

don't wanna sound like a noob but I don't see the cheats that I've downloaded from your site. they are placed as said: cheats go into the respective /atmosphere/titles/<titleID>/cheats folders. I'm using atmosphere 0.8.9 and have updated Edizon from the app, have also done that:
Change value "dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1" to "dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
I don't know where to place the cheats. I mean, i have atmosphere and edizon installed, but where do I have to download the repository from https://github.com/WerWolv/EdiZon_CheatsConfigsAndScripts/tree/master/Cheats?
Do I just have to create a folder called cheats into the game folder? And how do i know the ID of the game?
The cheats go into /atmosphere/titles/<titleid>/cheats
You can find the title id by launching the game, then opening edizon and going into the cheats menu. The number next to TID is the title id
thanks for the quick response. But it doesn't work. ID of the game matches and cheats are placed into a cheat.txt file into atmosphere/title/<gameid>/cheats but still nothing.
Can anyone tell me why randomly I get scripts not found when I know the scripts are there because I’ve just updated it
That means the cheat simply doesn't work for your game version/game region. Not much you can do besides looking for a cheat that works for you.
Celeste when I try to edit settings
Yeah i thought that but I tried two games: Octopath and Zelda and they don't work for any of these
Heh you got the two worst examples there really ^^" Zelda was updated a few days ago and the cheats aren't compatible with it yet. You can try this file here: https://puu.sh/DqP0E/11503df0fe.txt. Rename it to 8e9978d50bdd20b4.txt before using it though.
Octopath traveler has like a bajillion different regions that are all incompatible with each other and all have different titleIDs. So it's very very likely that you got the wrong file there.
As I said, put it in /atmosphere/titles/<zelda titleID>/cheats and name it 8e9978d50bdd20b4.txt instead of cheats.txtHahahah how lucky I am.
Now, the last question. I pasted the cheats into a txt file named cheats, so it looks: cheats.txt. How must the txt file be named so the cheats work? Maybe is because of this also? Thank you very much for your help.
As I said, put it in /atmosphere/titles/<zelda titleID>/cheats and name it 8e9978d50bdd20b4.txt instead of cheats.txt
Yes but I mean, the "8e9978d50bdd20b4" is because is specific for the game. Every game has a specific name for the txt file? Maybe thats why maybe octopath doesn't work either.
Edit.: Yep, tested it, changing the name for the txt files works, now it's perfect.
Thank you very much WerWolv.
You probably don't have the right have version installed or the cheat is for a different region. For cheats to work, both have to match perfectly, otherwise they won't load.
after reading other people's comments and searched on other sites, it may be possible that I have forgotten something or am missing something. one of the games I have is NA Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 1.7.1 and the fe1b230800d4933c.txt (buildid for this version) is in /atmosphere/titles/0100152000022000/cheats file
is it possible that other buildid in a same file may cause problems?
Why the BoTW cheats (using Atmosphere 0.8.7) make my Swords, Shields and Bows breake really fast? my weapons have like 6529400 of durability.
I deactivate the cheats but they activate by itself I had to rename the BoTW cheat folder cuz that's why my weapons are breaking
I've never tried those:
- Load Game
- Activate Cheats (I'm clueless as how to do it)
- Tap power button to put console into sleep mode
- Tap power button again to wake the console back up
- Press home & re-open the game
It's Atmosphere's default behavior. Read the readme on GitHub for an instruction on how to fix that.
What exactly are you trying to do? Loading cheats is as simple as starting the game, going back to the home menu without closing the game complete, then launching edizon and pressing Y there. You'll now be in a menu with a list of all your cheats that you can enable for this game
