Hello I created an account because I would like to ask a question on how to fix my 3ds. Sadly I don't know how to create a thread and I don't wanna put things in the wrong place or break any rules. Sorry if I am in advanced. Anyway I also really like the discussions on these forms so far, since I'm a huge fan of video games so TY for reading if anyone actually does.

If its possible for someone to help my 3DS wont turn on anymore after I accidentally deleted all my cias on my 3DS and it wont turn on anymore. The Blue light just flashes on and I cant even get to the home screen at all either. Yeah I was homebrewing my device and probably made a mistake somewhere and could have possibly bricked my console if so that's ok. Its not a big deal if I doesn't work anymore just a mild bummer. I would just like if someone could help me out if possible. If not that's ok too. SORRY again if this isn't what I'm supposed to do thank you in advanced.

Simply deleting the cia files off your SD card wouldn't cause any harm. Once they're installed they're no longer needed. Please explain exactly what you did.

Oh Basically I was trying to install a Gba emulator on my DS it worked fine. But this video and person informed me to follow these steps:

1. Go into DS Download Play 2.press the L and down on D-pad and SELECT at same time to open rosalina menu 3. Go to Miscellaneous options then press "Switch the hb. title to current app." 4. Exit Download Play then go back in and it should now be homebrew, Now go into FBI app 5. Press SD then go into "cias" Then press "current directory" 6. Press "Install and delete all CIAs" 7. Now do frogtool from 9;30 to restore Download Play 8. Your done! You may now go watch a video on how to install cia games.

I started to delete all my files off my 3DS I think almost everything is gone off the SD card? Anyway I cant turn my 3DS on anymore even without the SD card. The light flashes on for a sec but the 3DS wont turn on? I was wondering if I messed it up too badly? I cant really turn it on so I wanted to ask for help. If its bricked then I wont bother anymore and give up. Is there anyway possible for me to return the 3ds back to its natural state if possible I just want to at least be able to turn it on and back to normal? Could you possibly give me some tips and point me in the right direction?

do you have boot.firm on your SD card?
if not download it from here

and a personal advice, never follow videos for 3ds hacking they´re outdated most of the time
use this instead https://3ds.hacks.guide
as a final advice i think you should use gba injector to play gba games since they play natively and you will get perfect compability(as a real gba) using that

Ok I have boot firm on my 3ds but it still wont work too. Umm yeah I'm really new to homebrewing so I need a lot of help and steps if possible. Also I'll be more careful in the future and Thank you for trying to help me it means a lot. Also several files are probably missing from my 3ds so maybe that could be the problem?
