Kingdom Hearts III will soon be getting some new DLC content, as explained by the one-and-only Tetsuya Nomura. The announcement capped off the World of Tres Kingdom Hearts orchestral event that took place in Tokyo, Japan yesterday night. Nomura took to the stage to briefly discuss the upcoming content, which consists of a a new scenario, a bonus episode and a secret episode, as well as a secret boss to fight. No release date or price was given, but we do know the title of the DLC, which is called “ReMIND”. Those that don’t wish to make any further purchases will still benefit, as they’ll receive a free keyblade and form when ReMIND releases. Kingdom Hearts III launched earlier this January, and is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

That depends on your definition of DLC, because if you mean content that can only be accessed by paying, then the VIP boards in KHuX that can only be bought with coins earned from buying gems with real money probably qualify.

Wow. Let me be clear with those things:
1) They didn't hold back. The game came out as a full experience, and this DLC has been in development since the release of the game (just as the free DLC that just came out this week).
2) This game has been like 6 years in the making. It's something normal for a AAA game. They didn't start making it as soon as they ended KH2, you know? There are many other KH games before 3 and after 2, and the people that work on this games also had other games to do.
