:Update:
--------------------

I found most if not all of the UI files, there were more jtex files hiding in the folder.
Now the issue is that a bunch of them are all cut up in to slices, now some of them have parts of them cut and portioned around the tile because of spacing, but im talking full on blocks slid over making the images nearly impossible to translate. Is it because of the JTEX.jar converter? or is it because it's a different compression in the files?

:Issue #1:
--------------------

Okay I didn't know where i should post about this, but i need some help with some file types that are located inside of the the game i got the .JTEX files figured out since there compressed and a previous thread had them figured out, but the issue i have is with the many other files.
I would like to be able to find the UI files and edit those then import them back into the game even some light UI text translations like the menu's/arte names/item names/etc..

:Issue #2:
--------------------

My second issue is that the Banner doesn't display correctly, i have searched and been told that it's an issue with the region of the 3DS the game was installed onto. Since I have a US region 3DS the logo on the banner won't show up correctly.
The 3D mesh is in the banner.cgfx file that resides in the decrypted banner folder.
The logo however is located in the banner9.bcmdl, which i have replaced with the English version of the logo I made.
I haven't the foggiest clue how to fix/edit the banner files to make it appear in the region my 3DS is in, if anyone can help me out with that i would appreciate it.

I tried to follow some steps I found on here and also on reddit but once i had the files out there was nothing i could do with the files i had since the game hasn't been released outside of Japan so there's no reference for how it should work.

Now some of these i have figured out through the use of Ohana3DS but the rest are a mystery to me.
If anyone can give me information on how to edit/view these files so i can get to where the text is.

ExtractedRomFS----
----.bccam --> Mystic Arte's (The filenames match up with the Mystic Artes so I feel like they house the animation or something?)
----.bcmata
----.bcmdl --> Model file (Opens with Ohana3DS)
----.bcptl --> Has a GCFX header, but Ohana crashes when trying to import.
----.bcskla --> Animation file (Opens in Ohana3DS > Skeletal Animation)
----.bctex --> Model Texture file (Opens in Ohana3DS > Texture import)
----TalesSLG_Font/FontS/FontSP.bin --> Font files, need to figure out how to view.
----.bjae
----.DAT
----.jtex --> Character Sprites

UPDATE:
I have started to edit and translate the images in the assets, though i need to know how to compress them back into the original .jTEX compressed format.
I used Kuriimu to decompress the jTEX files using Compression>Nintendo>Decompress>General the issue is that there's not General option in Nintendo>Compress.

When you apply a patch to a 3DS game, you are unable to actually make changes to the banner file without outright replacing it (which is copyright violation). So you should leave that file alone.

Doubt he's gonna get in trouble for it. The DGS fan translation did the same thing and nothing happened to them

According to their release page and the fact that I have played the full game... this is not the case. The banner was not translated.
According to that release page it states "Unfortunately, the Banner can not be translated via a Game Update. The eManual is in English, however."
but i agree you cannot replace the logo in the banner because of the files restrictions and the fact there's not a single program that will let you do it easily without the programs throwing a tantrum, I'm literally unable to change the banner image because of some weird issue with the region.

I have however replaced the Logo on the banner through some edits made to the banner files by just swapping the texture since its just floating there, though again the main issue is that the banner never shows up on a 3DS from any redon that's not JPN.

If in the future i can get the logo to popup on the banner, i would probably try to but i wouldn't count on it since for now its stuck to region restrictions.

If i remember the bjae files were animation files or something else. The text for this game is actually in the .dat files so i dont know about picross.
