If you throw your Switch in a fire, you can burn all of the fuses
4/64 on a Switchme Rebug Modchip unit
8/64 on a Trinket M0 Modchip unit
1/64 on a 1.0.0 Switch lol

As for the topic, my Switch was bought with three fuses burnt, and I've had AutoRCM installed since then.
Caved and got a 2.2.0 unit with 2 fuses burned when smhax was announced.
Been keeping it at that number with choiNX+autoRCM in case anything interesting comes to lower firmwares.

An acquaintance of mine won a switch on a christmas party and was just sitting in its box, collecting dust for quite a while. He decided to try and jailbreak the thing but have no idea how to so he asked me to do it, I agreed and took it home.
When I got home I saw the thing was still on v1.0.0, heck, the first time setup wasn't even set up, it's like I was the first person to turn the thing on. Anyway, I immediately called him and asked him that I want to do a trade and if it's okay with him (btw, mine was already on v5.1.0 back then, fuses weren't preserved), he agreed to do the trade since my switch was just a week old and, according to him, "I was going to jailbreak his switch for free, anyway". The next day I gave him my switch and thanked me for it, I insisted I was the one who's supposed to be thankful as I was searching for a switch like his for a long time. His face was confused at first but brushed it off and didn't bothered to ask why.
The switch is now on v7.0.1 but only has one burnt fuse. I have a backup of it when it was just on v1.0.0 and plan to downgrade once emunand for atmosphere is available.

you are not alone with too many switches
I ended up with 4 switches myself because I bought 2 broken switches off of ebay and I fixed them haha.
No more buying switches for me.
as for my fuses... I just burn them. I update normally thru nintendo server.
1. my legit switch on 8.0.0 = 9
2. my main hacked switch (banned) = 8 (still on 6.2 fw)
3. hacked switch on 8.0.0 = 9
4. another ebay switch that I fixed = 8 (still on 6.2 fw) (use to run ubuntu)
5. trinket switch - setup to autoboot ubuntu = 8 and ofw is dead on it.

My switch have 4 burned fuses (I can still get unthetered cooldboot in the future ). Actually, my switch should have 3 burned fuses but I but I became victim by the update nag.
