It does, 90DNS is slow w/google. I get basically the same speeds on PC as Switch now (google seems to be capped at 10 mb/s download.)

90DNS CAN'T slow down your internet speed, it does only name resolution. After the DNS retrieved the IP for the domain, the DNS isn't used.

I don't use it myself, but I guess it's just convenient. Especially for smaller stuff like updates and DLC.

It works and it is not freeshop - I mean, the results are comparable - you leech stuff directly from the console - but it doesn't load directly off Nintendo's servers. The files are self-hosted.
I'd rather they didn't make this app but keep the stuff on gdrive like it was before, since it drew a LOT of unwanted attention, but here we are.

That's what I use it for. Given the fact alone that it shows me for which games there are updates is a great feature.

does hbgshop download updates from the official source at nintendo? because many updates do not download/install. MK8 worked (1.7.1), but rocket league does not unfortunately. what can I do?
