You can't seem to understand that the info was posted before 8.0 was released. The info was not misleading at all, it was actually pretty close to being correct. Of course now that we know the facts we can say that the post was untrue. But that wasn't the intention and it was pretty good and very relevant speculation.

It was a fair warning to everyone of information that was unknown at the time. I don't regret it.

Speculation is still misleading info, giving people misleading info lead to problems.
You are right. Talking about TX is like beating a dead horse around here. It's always the same people talking shit about the same thing on every thread that has "TX" in it. They can't even warn people not to update without being shit posted.
How is this confirmed untrue ? aren ipatched unit bricking if they have rcm ?
Telling people not to update actually avoids problems...
What problem can come exactly from not updating to 8.0?
It does cause issues for patched consoles, though not sure why anyone would even be trying on a patched console in the first place without someone confirming it works.

Clearly it causes problems. Let's be serious if that post was made on here by some other user, this conversation wouldn't even exist.
Some people are just incredibly dense. No need to continue to try and explain how the original speculation was not misleading.
Mods are heavily biased towards tx here, so someone with a patched unit might end up getting screwed because "cOnFiRmEd UnTruE".

I can't help if people are dumb and try to nitpick everything tx says or does. If that is how they want to live their life, so be it.
Yeah.. nowadays i see more and more bias here..
iptahced units with autoRCM will brick but that should be obvious, for the normal user you're fine.
As for someone saying misleading, I would say correct the information posted here on the first page and then all is well, his goal was to help people, not make people argue.
Now I'm not sure about TX and what's up with them as I've been out of the loop in my own little hidey hole but I'd say it's partially true and update OP and leave it at that, no need to continue arguing.

Mods aren't biased on that just that the files those website provide contain stuffs that the forum doesn't allow to link that why they get removed not anything against TX, I assume few of them mod actually used SX OS.
