So I finally managed to download henkaku en vitashell on my psvita filmware: 3.67
Now I am stuck on how to actually get games on my psvita.
1. There are almost no guides on that, or guides that talk about ux0 folders that my computer doesnt see (it does show up on vitashell though on my psvita) (even though I turned on the hidden files and folders).
2. Everywhere they talk about vpk files while my games files are cpk (from the NICO site, and yes only the vita games)

Can someone help me with this...?

EDIT I finally made it work
for the people with 3.66/3.67/3.68. You can follow the next steps:
(read the last tips first just to be sure under these steps)

first foloow this youtube video about jailbreaking you psvita:

if QMCA doesnt work download WinSCP:
with winscp you have to:
change the file protocol to FTP. (on your psvita in vitashell by pressing select, this usually has USB or maybe FTP is already selected)-> you have to get a screen in vitashell about some serverscode you need that.
Then you have to do this in winscp as well
Then under the thing you just changed to FTP you have something called host name or adress computer (I cant check since mine is Dutch) You have to put all the numbers and dots that your psvita serverscode gives you in vitashell except from the last 4 numbers (usually something like 1337)
those last 4 numbers you have to put right from the host name or adress computer thingy, called port number (Again I can be wrong with that name)
then press log in-> it will ask you something like a password or something but press continue or log in a few times and you will be able to see all the files you might werent with QMCA like in the videos
next if everything worked out with that you of course wanna play some games!
follow this youtube video:

and your good to go!

TIPS:
- if your vita has trouble with connecting try to put the language to english
- If you still want to use internet you have a code so it wont just suddenly update (of course you also have that option in your system options which needs to be off!):
go to wifi settings-> "your wifi option which you are login with"->advanced settings-> scroll down-> set DNS settings to manual instead of automatic-> put in the primary DNS 212.47.229.76 you can leave the secondary DNS as it is
- If you have downloaded everything and turned off your psvita you always have to start up H-encore first (you can just press exit) so it is active and then you can go into vitashell and pkgj. if you dont you might get an error or something
- I dont play games online so I am not sure if there is or is no problem with playing online and getting or not getting an update.

I only have a PSTV, so my advice probably won't be much help.
I used to transfer my games (PC to PSTV) via FTP by using Vitashell back when that was the only way to do so. Nowadays, I just place them on a USB drive and mount it through Vitashell for an easier and faster transfer.

I assume you're plugging it directly to your computer? If so, I would have assumed it'd be the same as the PSP where you can see every folder right away once usb transfer mode is enabled. Maybe this advice from another thread will solve your problem:
In VitaShell's Home view (the one with all the drives), press Triangle. There should be mount options, there. If you press start, there should also be an option for what gets fed to the PC through USB.

Familiarize yourself with the Vita partitions (ur0:, ux0:, etc.). Familiarize yourself with the config.txt file, which is from where you enable the plugins that will let you do a lot of things on your Vita (I'd recommend only using the config.txt file from ur0: you also should place every plugin you use on ur0:tai/ only so you don't have any issues afterwards, like having plugins on different locations making them unable to be loaded).

Use NoNpDrm plugin. Check how to install it; it's really easy to do and you already have everything you need for it to work: Henkaku and vitashell running. Remember to place the .skprx on ur0:tai/ to make everything easier for you later.

For downloading backups, you can use <removed> which is a tiny app that you run on your PC and that it can list every game contributed by the community on the <removed> database. Follow the instructions found on the sheet to configure <removed> so it can let you download anything from the database (you only need to copy some lines of text into the app, and place a couple of files on some folders so it can unpack the downloaded files; nothing complicated, really).
The basic process for downloading using <removed> is to select your game, select download, wait for the download to complete, then it will start to unpack the .PKG file, you wait some more, and when it finally finishes, the downloaded game will have a folder named after the ID of the game (for example, PCSG00351 instead of Phantasy Star Nova). You can then use Vitashell's USB function from your Vita to directly connect it to your PC just like a USB drive (you will see folders and files on your PC like if it were any other directory on your PC). Copy over said game folder to ux0:app/. Then, you can go back to the root of your Vita partitions (from where you see ux0:, ur0:, etc.) on Vitashell. Press TRIANGLE and select "Refresh LiveArea..."; it will take a moment to update, and once it finishes it will say something like "Refreshed X items.", where X is the number of different game folders you copied over previously. For DLC the process is exactly the same, but now you copy over said DLC to the ux0:addcont/ folder instead.

Alternatively, you can use PKGi or PKGj, which are Vita homebrew that do the same thing, but they do everything from your Vita, without needing to use your PC. I simply don't recommend them because, as everything is done directly on your Vita, the process is painfully slow compared to doing it on my PC. That means, the downloads will take longer because the Vita doesn't really have good download speeds compared to my PC. Also, the Vita needs more space because it still needs to unpack the files, which isn't really a problem for my PC either. At the end of the day, it all depends on you, but I would only recommend these homebrews if for some strange reason you don't have access to a PC or you really, really want to do everything from your Vita.

Hello, CPK files are actually patch files, usually for translations. VPKs are the Vita games
Ah okii since I downloaded it from the nico site.. Can you maybe tell me where I do find vpk files?

So with searching alot around I indeed found out that you need WinSCP to get in those folder! apparently they dont always show up if you are connect with usb

So I found something called Maidumptool. and it is supposed to also help you instal the games?

We're not allowed to mention sites like those (ie. sites where you can download free games illegally) on here. But yes, there are a couple of sites where you might find .vpk files of Vita games and whatnot. You'll probably find some leads by simply googling straight to the point keywords.

As for your other question (from the merged posts), Maidumptool was an old homebrew that allowed you to install games that were extracted/backed up in the Maidumptool format (which were basically folders with the game contents visible). Due to the ongoing popularity and rise of apps, such as the NPS Browser and pkgj (coupled with the nonpdrm plugin), Maidumptool has become obsolete. If you don't have any games that are backups made with that format, then no, you don't need Maidumptool at all.

Easiest way would be to download pkgj app and install games directly on the vita. You already have nonpdrm installed so they should work right off the bat after installing, as for the folders method the only one im familiar with is after getting the dump and putting it in app folder and dlc or patches in addcont folder then just hit refresh livearea in vitashell settings, by what others have said in this post i imagine it's the same for for any of the dumps in the folder format.

Don't worry about those other apps. Just search on Google how to install pkgj. Once it's installed, just use that to get games. Nothing else.
