sys-clk 0.12.0 released, now supports late loading via Kosmos Toolbox

We've seen one Switch overclocking app get updated a couple of days ago and now the other major one got some new features too! sys-clk 0.12.0 has been released and is brought to you by team RetroNX (specifically @p-sam @m4xw and @natinusala).

The update may seem small at a first glance but there's more than meets the eye: first of all, the config loading function has been rewritten to make it faster and it now supports storing more profiles, which will prove especially useful for future updates. More interestingly, however, the tool now officially supports pm late loading, as some unnecessary code which didn't make it possible before has been removed. If you ask yourself why should you care about this last point as an end user, it's because it means you can now use the Kosmos Toolbox to late load sys-clk without rebooting your console!

If you want to read more about what's new, the full official changelog is as follows:
  • Config loading has been refactored to permit more profile storage, and serve as the groundwork for what's to come
  • The kip target (which had become irrelevant) and the code required to support it has been removed, consequently enabling pm late loading with no side-effect

You can download the update from the official GitHub repo and get support on the GBAtemp discussion thread, both linked below. If you're a new user, instructions on how to set up and use the tool as well as a link for database containing overcloking/underclocking presets for many different games are also available on the same thread.

I don't understand... What's the big deal about late loading?
In a nutshell, Kosmos v12 introduced support for hot sysmodule loading/unloading without having to reboot the console everytime via the Toolbox and pretty much all the included ones supported this, with the exception of sys-clk.

The devs then announced a fix for the isse and that's what was released today, which imo is a very welcome thing as it was otherwise pretty annoying to reboot the console every time you wanted to disable the sysmodule (it doesn't have a GUI yet nor any other straightforward way to do so).

Oh, okay. Thank you for explaining it.
