The Asian English release has both games on a single cartridge and has English cover and English language ingame.

This is the first time a 32gb switch card was used with English language option, since the other single time a 32gb switch cartridge was used was in dragon quest heroes 1 and 2 japan language only.

Be aware that USA,Europe and japan versions of this game come with download code for X-2, Asian English release is the single release with all on cartridge.

I intend to import this game because I want a physical copy of both games. The lack of artwork inside the box is a bit disappointing, just like the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy.

I'll probably get the game at Best Buy, keep FFX, and sell FFX-2's digital code for $20 because I sure don't want that game :creep:. Not sure if that'd get my console banned, but I really wished those two games were separate.

As far as I'm understanding it, you might be able to get x on its own this way, but not x2

Well it is a difference story when the person has to rebuild the games into two seperate games. Download version would just be nsp. You can try but I doubt there are that many people interested in repacking it when other region has the second games as a download.

Why though? X-2 is awful.

If it's anything like the PC version the data files for X-2 are completely separate from X so you could just delete one or the other to get a version that only has one of the games, of course you'd still have the menu option for the other game but you could at least edit the menu graphics and text to make the other option invisible. I deleted the data file for X-2 on my Steam copy cause I needed the space and I don't give a shit about X-2. I've given it multiple shots, as I had forgotten how bad it was the first time I tried it, and I had to try it again thinking "was it really that bad? maybe I'll like it now that I'm older", well, I did not.

Thank you! Finally, someone agrees with me. Every time I dare speak ill of FFX-2, people always get their undies in a twist about it. The game is nothing but J-pop, weeb-pandering waifu trash. IMO.:lol:
I'd rather just sell the digital code to some poor sap on eBay.

I thought it was pretty much universally agreed upon that X-2 is a bad game. It pretty much has nothing to do with FFX at all, it's like Spira of an alternate dimension where everything is about dancing, or alternatively, Yuna and Rikku fanservice. I don't know what they were smoking when they came up with that. The whole combat mechanic is weird too.
Sure Yuna and Rikku are super cute and all but I don't think it's much of a stretch for me to say that the only reason that game exists is for fanservice.

It's a bit like Majora's Mask, they re-used 80% of the original game's art so tried to make it feel as different as possible in other ways.

Although moving to an alternate universe Spira might've made that idea work better.

Oh you'd be surprised on the people defending the game with blind sycophancy and fanboying it because of the way the characters look. Horrible soundtrack, bad story, fanservice for weebs all around. FFX is way better.

I thought FFX-2 wasn't that bad Yunalesca actually was more interesting (her walk animation could of looked less spazticated) but I enjoyed the mission mechanic, then again i'm a sucker for games with a system like that. I will admit although visually impressive FF13 wasn't very good.
