Hello everyone.

Sorry I don't know where to ask this, so I made a thread ^^
I was reading about different Final Fantasy VII versions they made back in the day and it was interesting, original and international versions etc.
Now I see the PlayStation Classic version lacks the indicators that shows where to go, so I'm actually worried if Ruby and Emerald Weapons are in the game since they're added in later versions of the game.

So yes, my question is: Are Emerald and Ruby Weapons in the game on the PlayStation Classic? If so, I'm really really happy. If not, then I'm disappointed and need to download another version of Final Fantasy VII thus need to start from scratch :/

Thanks.

Emerald Weapon is a superboss in the North American, PAL and International versions of Final Fantasy VII.

Ruby Weapon is one of the two superbosses of Final Fantasy VII, along with the Emerald Weapon. It is one of the three Weapon enemies added in the North American, PAL, and International versions.

The ff7 version on the ps classic is an emulation of the original game. You should be able to press the select button to make the indicators (red arrows) show up.

As far as having ruby/emerald, they should be added to every region's release. I haven't heard of any region getting some version that doesn't have it. If you bought this in USA, then it will have ruby/emerald.

Just to put your mind at ease, even if they weren't on there (they are), then you should be able to hack it and add a version that does (with a bit of work). And even if you have to download another version, the saves should be interchangeable. And if you're *really* worried about your save for some reason, ff7 save game editor "black chocobo" allows you to open a save from any version (pc, psx, emulated, etc) and save it to most other version (they're currently working on psv support I think). So no matter the situation, there's a way to play with ruby/emerald.

As a side-note, I'm not sure what version of the game is being used, and how edited it is, but it seems to be the worst version of the game as it's not very well emulated. The music and battle swirls seem to bother people a lot.

Didn't know about select for the indicators ^^
I don't have problems with the sound atleast on my end, but it might be because I'm a total sound noob lol, thanks anyways.
