I think it'd be better to change that to Chromium, since that's open source and just Chrome is not.

I doubt. Chromium is too bloated for the 3DS. The system browser is based on NetFront browser which is not designed for general usage..

Or maybe just replace the VC altogether. They are not accurate at all (sans GBA VCs since they are not emulated)

Yes, but in a fashion similar to official titles, e.g. do everything in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder and do not pollute the SD card.

I would like to see a application to modify in game files on the go. It could help people make mods for games, like making a smash bros 3ds mod where everyone can infinitely jump, or add generation 3-7 Pokémon into red/blue/yellow.

well this is not exactly a homebrew but the rosalina input redirection client (not ntr) only supports xinput as native controller. we are forced to purchase xpadder to map our controllers to an xinput gamepad. using .ini files instead of .dll would be better

• There is a single DSiWare HOME Menu placeholder title.
• There is a secondary 3DS title in either 3DSX or CIA form.
• You launch the secondary title to select from a list of DSiWare roms.
• This app will swap the (*.nds/*.app) and (*.sav) with the placeholder DSiWare title.
• The app will backup that game's save file before swapping in replacement DSiWare title.

No. 3ds consoles do not have enough in them to ever run one.

If a 3DS can't run a n64, then it should not be able to run xenoblade chronicles 3D, which is a port from the wii

it does not have the proper dynarec for it. ports are not reasonable excuses. they are likely a full recode to make them work. There is a thread about why N64 will never be a thing. go search for it.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D doesn't use the extra hardware power. By disabling L2 and downclocking the system in Rosalina, it will still run smooth. But emulation takes additional hardware power. The 3DS is more powerful than the N64, but don't expect emulation in a few years and only on a New 3DS.
