Hacking After moving all files from one hard drive to another, no games are detected by USBLoaderGX (vWii)

I have 2 hard drives, one of them I already had set up with USB Loader GX and had Wii and Gamecube games that worked fine. Yesterday I transferred all the files from this hard drive to another one (which actually used to be my laptops hard drive, but was removed and put into a hard drive enclosure when my laptop had work done unrelated to the hardrive and thanks to the warranty they just gave me a new laptop with a new hard drive, with the old one in said enclosure) and put it into the Wii U the same way as the other. (Also both are formatted to Fat32).

When USB Loader GX opens up it loads through all the messages and seems to detect the hard drive fine (or at least there aren't any error messages), but none of my games are present. How do I fix this? Can I fix it? All the files were copy pasted from the old hard drive to this second one.

Yes, both with the original hard drive and this second one I have a cable that splits into two USB heads plugged into each of the Wii U USB ports. And both are FAT 32. This element is identical between both of the hard drives.

And the second hard drive is very much detected by the console, both on the Wii U homescreen and like I said USB Loader GX seems to be detecting its presence fine.

Try copying the files to your PC so they are Safe then do a SLOW format then copy the files back. Also check the configurations file of usbloadergx.

Use the manager "" wii backup manager "" for copying your games, from HDD 1 to hard drive 2, it will work much better.

Hadn't thought of that, I'll give that a try. I've got the game files copied to a folder on my computer right now, I'm assuming that will be okay? And what about as far as gc saves/misc files/etc go, anything like that need anything done?
And yeah what about gamecube games, how would I get them to show?

And like I said the entire original hard drive's files are on my PC so that should be safe I'd think. And what is a slow format? And what would checking the configurations file entail?

as long as both HDDs are formatted properly to FAT32, and the first HDD is working, you can just copy the game files over to the second HDD with the same folder structure (\wbfs\title [ID6]\ID6.wbfs). of course using wii backup manager won't hurt either but a bit less convenient.

If you have have more than one partitions on either HDD, then you need to tell the usbloader to look for the different partitions. If that doesn't work your second HDD/enclosure is probably not compatible with cios and the usbloaders can't init the HDD at all (but you said "seems to detect the hard drive fine") or usbloadergx has switched to channel mode and not showing the wii games - just check to show the Wii games as stated in previous posts..

There are known problems with hd enclosures. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't, like flash drives.
Only external USB drives should be used on the Wii

I'm not even sure what this means, a hard drive having multiple partitions (I'm sort of clueless with all this) but I just went to the Hard Drive Settings and changed "Multiple Partitions" from OFF to ON and now I suddenly have everything back! It all appears to be good now! I know it's been a minute but thanks for this!

Okay so one more thing though, all of the Wii games have now appeared but my Gamecube games are not showing up. In the one option in the bar at the top of the screen I have "GC Games" checked, so I don't think it'd be that. I formatted the hard drive to fat 32 sometime ago (I believe with that small and easy to download program that gets recommended a lot for wiibrew stuff, I forget its name..), I didn't realize that my hard drive could have more than one thing that can be formatted? So the gamecube games won't launch, Nintendont opens up and it says "CheckForMultiGameAndRegion() failed". Not sure what this means but I assume I should just reformat the drive to FAT32 to assure I have it right. There was some program that I've always seen recommended for formatting, I think it was called guiformat, is that it? I googled this and saw some links but can anyone provide me a link that is definitely good so I know I'm getting the right thing?

Also possibly unrelated, but while in the settings under Loader Settings under "Gamecube Settings" I changed whatever it was I had under "GameCube Source", what is it I should have for this?

Kind of confused by your response but you are saying that I should just reformat it entirely, yes?
