Hi, I've ran in to a bit of a speedbump. The DSi I've ordered doesn't have any DSiWare on it, (not even Flipnote Studio) and I've been unable to find any other methods since the DSI eShop has closed.

I read something about dumping the DSiWare apps off a 3DS and installing them on DSi, but it says I need Unlaunch and HiyaCFW installed first, which just brings us full circle :/

If this thread can also be for ds lite and not hacking, I need help. I was using my ds on games from r4(not related), The top screen suddenly went darker and then the colors inverted and i started pushing the side of the screen it fixed. After getting out of the train and getting home, I turn it on to play games 1 minute later it was doing the same thing. I don't want to replace screen. Should I open it up and take off the ribbon cable and put it back on or is there another way?

Wait for Failzone (a DSi Nintendo Zone exploit) to be released.

Hi,

i´ve got a dsi with hiyacfw and TwiLight Menu.

is it posssible to launch games directly from the dsi menu in HiyaCFW? Or is it only possible with the TwiLight Menu?

There is indeed the menu item, with which you can start the last played game directly, as I understand it. Is it possible then with other games?

Thanks

Barossa

I got both Unlaunch and HiyaCFW put into my DSi along with having used Launchergen. However, Only Unlaunch will boot properly. The latter always gives me an error when I try launching it. Pic related: its me from over a month ago in the DS(i) homebrew Discord channel asking this question fin different wording.

I have LunarIPS already in my computer, but I don't know how to use it on the SD card files, plus I don't know if the version of HiyaCFW I have installed is still the latest version.

I have two questions:
How can I update Twilight Menu?
Install it like you did the first time, and you should be fine. It may reset your settings, but it shouldn't take long to set them back.
I change settings from DSi Menu but everytime when I go in Twilight Menu to play some game, the settings dont change like nickname and color. How can I change that?
Do they change in your actual DSi Menu?

Thanks for answer. Yes if go in settings, the new nickname and color are there but in TWMenu it's the old before I follow DSi Guide

I dont know what I do wrong but I tried to change DSi setting by own Twilight Menu and now my DSi is booting everytime in DSi Settings. What can I do?
The same thing is happening to me! What the heck?
Did you configure unlaunch to autoboot System Settings?
Settings.png

"NO BUTTON" should be set to any of those:
Launcher (SysNAND, normal System Menu)
sdmc:/HIYA.DSI (SDNAND, loading EmuNAND version of System Menu or TWiLight Menu++)
sdmc:/BOOT.NDS (should be TWiLight Menu++)

How cuz I don't see any option anywhere
Start HiyaCFW without TWiLight Menu++ (SD max 2GB) and open System Settings. To save changes it might be necessary to remove the read-only flag from
SD:/shared1/TWLCFG0.dat and SD:/shared1/TWLCFG0.dat
or you might get the "An error has occured" screen.
You can also access System Settings from the settings menu within TWiLight Menu++ (for bigger SD). If loaded by HiyaCFW this should get you to the settings of your SDNAND. Just try around a bit. I don't know exactly how, but in the end I got it to access both versions (SysNAND, SDNAND) of the settings menu.

Hai there!

I've got a small question regarding a cosmetic detail that provoke my OCD
(At the time of writing I have unlaunch v1.8 and HiyaCFW v1.3.2 installed on my 1.4.5E DSi with 2GB SD card formmated to FAT32/16k cluster.)

Is it normal that the Wi-Fi indicator LED lights up on startup after installing unlaunch? It dims down right after booting to SysNAND or SDNAND with HiyaCFW but it stays on when running anything else from the unlaunch filemenu. I remember that I had Wi-Fi turned on when I was installing unlaunch on my DSi, so maybe that's the reason why it stayed like this. It could also be a feature rather than a bug, as I've read that unlaunch initializes Wi-Fi components on startup.

I want to hear from you guys if your softmodded DSis also behave like this.

Thanks! :yaynds:
