Or the gamecard is damaged? This is kind of a fucked up problem.

Yeah, it can be. I will ask my friend to try Period: Cube on her device as well. Unfortunately I bought this game after upgrading to the slim, so I couldn't test it on my previous fat Vita.

But even if the cartridge is faulty, I still don't know why I can't play some of my digital games. I will try to write about it to PSN Support. I don't think they will/could help but who knows? Can't hurt to try at this point.

Sabil: Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I already tried it (and the wifi/bluetooth off versions of it, too), but didn't help. :(

Did the previous owner have enso installed? If so did you uninstall it as well? Sounds to me like the only way to fix whatever went wrong would be to reinstall 3.70 fw

If I remember right, I uninstalled enso before factory resetting the device. But I would like to reinstall 3.70 if possible, something really feels wrong/off with this ofw. Would you be so kind to shortly explain me how I can reinstall it?:(

Yea I'm not quite sure what went wrong, but a fresh fw reinstall should fix it. You're going to need
Qcma installed if you don't already have it, and also you'll need to download the 3.70 fw and xml file and put in your psv updates folder. In qcma settings it has some options for choosing fw to update to, make sure you select custom and enter 3.70. Then make sure psv can connect to qcma via usb if it does then you just need to go into recovery menu and choose update via pc from there and it should reinstall. Only updates work from regular settings menu, reinstall must be done through recovery menu. If your psv has trouble connecting to qcma you'll have to figure out what the issue is, reinstall drivers, google qcma zadig fix etc.

An old tutorial on the process here, note the differences though, such as the new settings in qcma not mentioned and to reinstall fw you must do so from recovery. The rest should be the same.

I tried to make it as short as i could :)

Thank you very much! I wanted it to be short so I wouldn't cause more problem to you when you might have much better things to do.

When I go home, I will try this reinstalling, I will keep you updated! I really hope it can help fix the strange behaviour of my device. ^^"

um, not sure if this might help, but if your having issues with playing games on off 3.70, you could wait for the 3.69/70 hack to come out and then use the "modoru" downgrader to go to your desired FW, 3.65?
to be able to install Enso (permanent CFW and be able to play all your games fine along with using reFOOD plugin to play 3.65+ FW games on 3.65 fw, and spoof fw to 3.70 while being on 3.65?)

not sure if this helps, but just a suggestion, that downgrader is useful to go back to a previous CFW if you are stuck on an unhakable fw.

if the 3.70 hack comes out whenever in the future and you want to go down to a hackable CFW, here's a good and easy tut video to follow:

hope this helps you in some way or for future reference mostly if you can't find a fix ATM to your problem.

I told you already on gibit. Not sure why you got rid of 3.65.

And to force reinstall you need to go in safe mode.

Did you uninstall enzo?

Yes, I uninstalled enzo. :D I was super stupid that I did that, if I could turn back time I would have never done that. :(

And yeah, I am trying force reinstalling in safe mode, but I got error code C3-3822-5. Trying to figure out what I should do to fix the problem.
I use jp for region, I wrote everything right in the xml file. I see that there is an update but when I try to intall it, this error code comes.

Edit: I solved the error message and was able to force a reinstall. Unfortunately my problematic games still can't be played so reinstalling 3.70 didn't help at all. :(

But at least it made me feel a lot braver and when the 3.70 hack is released, I think I will be able to install it to my device. It may sound ridiculous but I am super clumsy and noob when it comes to any softver-related things (omg you really don't want to imagine how I suffered when I hacked my PSP lol) so this experience made be braver/more experienced and I think I will be able to solve my future problems as well. c:

Thanks for all the comments, I will wait for 3.70 hack. But at least I can relax until then because I did everything I could. They didn't help, but... you know. :,D

I was noob and clumsy too when I wanted to install H-encore on my Vita which have 3.65 already since years ago, never updated it since then. Luckily there is a guy that explained everything really great that you'll succeed it in a first time. I used these video's:

No worries! Sucks that the fw reinstall didn't fix the problem, at this point I'm not sure on what else you could try to do besides what everyone else is saying and wait for the 3.70 hack and use modoru to downgrade.

Some things i can think of

I think you already did this, but if you go into settings>playstation network>system activation theres game, video/music, and psm. You need to activate game from here.

Maybe its the mem card? Try backing up your games and saves via qcma and then format your mem card and see if problem still persists.

If all else fails just wait for the 3.70 hack and you'll be able to fix then.
Good luck!

DON'T follow video guides by Tech James - the guy's a fucking idiot.
It's a crime that his channel is still going, when the vastly superior hacking content of Skullator has been shut down.

Yes, it is activated. And yes again, I can log into PSN withouth any problems (I use 2-step verification for login, in the case of Vita I have a special login password).

So downloads should work. If the game card does't work then it must be broken. Try blowing the card and the slot before putting it in.

remove the Sony memory card you have in there then try the physical game card or download a small game to the internal memory

I tried it and it worked. But the game I downloaded also worked with my Sony memory card, so... :( I checked and my memory card works perfectly.

Master110: I got one but I don't use it (I think without a hack I can't even use it). The memory card I use is an official Sony 16GB Vita memory card.
