ok then I guess someone will try it in the near future.
You really are a dreamer, aren't you?
The only slightest hope we have, is linux 4 tegra, but even that doesn't look promising.
Dolphin is a lost cause.
Also it will *never* run without max OC, I guarantee you that and even then *maybe* only a few selected games will run, with a bunch of game specific speedhacks

Where did you get that information ? They didn't say that, did they ? I doubt.

I think the fact that nothing new has been said by the devs or anyone else is proof enough that Dolphin support is on hold for now, if not dead in the water. I wonder about Reicast support on anything not using Lakka, but the fact that we're getting a version of Guilty Gear XX would be the final nail in the coffin for the need for the emulator if it weren't for stuff that doesn't stand a chance of getting re-released, like Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom Vs. SNK 2, and that's saying nothing of the stuff on NAOMI and Atomiswave that you''d otherwise need a PS2 emulator for!

I'm still holding out for a Dreamcast emulator. How else am I supposed to play Skies of Arcadia?! (on the go). It's why I own 2 Switches. Seriously. I *really* want to play Skies of Arcadia portably (time in front of the TV is almost non-existent for me).

Lakka is a Linux distribution aimed at turning small computer devices into retrogaming consoles. It is a minimal operating system using RetroArch as a front-end - it contains nothing more, nothing less than what's required for RetroArch and its 100+ supported consoles and standalone games.

And guess what - it runs on the Switch too, using the magic of ShofEL2 ! Prepare your SD card, boot the system and you're ready to go !

You can find everything needed on this website : https://lakka-switch.github.io/documentation/

I suggest you read the FAQ as it already covers common issues and questions. The official Lakka documentation can also help.

The system is not perfect yet, some issues are still present (audio through Bluetooth, wifi only working after a reboot...). However, it is playable and I feel like it's ready for a (first) release. If you want to contribute, don't hesitate to make a PR or message me directly !

If you want to talk or follow the developpement of RetroArch on the Switch (both homebrew and Lakka), feel free to join this Discord server : https://discord.gg/VZDWqXU

Enjoy ;)
Will Lakka Still load on a Bricked switch if i can load in to Hekate

I can't get Lakka to open a SSH port on my switch - Reconnected to both the 2G and 5G wifi networks multiple times (along with toggling SSH on/off) and my desktop doesn't see it. A scan of my LAN shows that the SSH port on the IP it claims it is (192.168.2.79) isn't open.

EDIT: Samba (and assumedly BT) also do work with the above IP address. Using the October 3rd 2018 build.

EDIT 2: Same results with the January 1st build (Is there any way to turn off the Frames counting in the bottom left corner? lol)
