Hacking Why I think Blawar is involved with StargateNX

SX Installer supports a bunch of install sources. FTP, SD, USB, NUT, etc.
It also supports one called 'CDN'

There is no documentation for this source anywhere.
The changelogs do not mention it
The only people using this source type are Stargate.
It appears to support authentication, allowing the source to be 'bound' to a specific system on the server end of the 'CDN' service.

It serves NO OTHER PURPOSE than to enable Stargate. No one else uses it, there is no way for others to use it as it is not documented. And the functionality was added before Stargate announced their existence, but not by much. @blawar is enabling commercial piracy. When he took SX money, that was bad enough. When he took SX's Stargate money, that's too far over the line for us to tolerate as a community.

The only thing I can tell is wrong here is that he is being blamed with something that may or may not be true before any real facts come out.

Regardless of these accusations, assuming that it is true, if he designed a program that a company likes, he has every right to accept payment for his work. If he refused to offer his program, the company would just find somebody else. This means that at least blawar is getting some form of compensation for his work while not changing the outcome of the main situation which is stargate.

He created a program that supports a source type that is completely undocumented and used exclusively by Stargate. It was created for Stargate. Only Stargate has the capability to use it, the other component needed to use it (the backend server stuff). This is factual and easy to verify.

Umm, no. Stargate isn't a company, it's part of a criminal enterprise. Blawar created functionality solely for piracy-for-profit. That is disgusting and criminal.

Hah. Same group, of course. But the Stargate brand goes beyond that; straight up accepting money in exchange for pirated games.

@blawar, do you have anything to say? Is there some other use for the CDN functionality that I am not aware of? Any documentation on how to use it, or are you just writing software for criminal piracy-for-pay syndicates?

StargateNX is a paid Switch application to download games to your Switch. However the payment does not go to Nintendo or the game developer's.

Speaking of Stargate, the site is in maintenance at the moment.

Anyhow, I don’t care who is and why someone is involved. SX Installer is still a buggy mess. Today I upgraded to latest version and also installed the trial version of stargate and it for whatever reason can’t access SD and USB anymore. There is an issue where no progress bar is dispayed when attempting to install something that is still not fixed.

What paid piracy has been recommended here? What are you talking about? Flash carts? Give me your example. I guarantee it's not the same as StarshitNX.

On the subject of Blawar, I feel that racism doesn't have a place in this scene. It's up to the GBATemp mods if they agree.
