SX Installer supports a bunch of install sources. FTP, SD, USB, NUT, etc.
It also supports one called 'CDN'

The only people using this source type are Stargate.
It appears to support authentication, allowing the source to be 'bound' to a specific system on the server end of the 'CDN' service.
It serves NO OTHER PURPOSE than to enable Stargate. No one else uses it, there is no way for others to use it as it is not documented. And the functionality was added before Stargate announced their existence, but not by much. @blawar is enabling commercial piracy. When he took SX money, that was bad enough. When he took SX's Stargate money, that's too far over the line for us to tolerate as a community.
