Not even two days after firmware 7.0.0's keys were found, @SciresM 's Atmosphère CFW has been updated to provide initial support for the latest Nintendo Switch system update.

This new version is still in its early stages as there is no stable release nor prebuilt binaries ready to be downloaded. This coupled with the fact that the current implementation is based around a "bring your own keys" approach means it will take some more work for a regular end user to boot into CFW right now while being on the latest firmware. Nevertheless, it's been said on the same tweet that another version with a more usual key derivation method is already being worked on, with an ETA ranging anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.

The commits have already been pushed to Atmosphère's GitHub repository so anyone can clone and compile a version of Atmosphère with 7.0.0 support, however it might be better for end users to wait until a stable release is available.

I really dont want to cause drama in an atmosphere thread when I dont use it, just think its funny people like to throw it under the rug. Because you dont use it, doesnt mean nobody else does etc. And theoretically if SXOS's emunand is detectable, so will atmo's. If youre going off of the "nintendo can check SD cards for it", im p sure atmosphere will do the same thing, you need to store said emunand somewhere.

Ill be the first to make a thread and tell everybody if I get banned from using sxos emunand, so dont worry there.

I would like to first point out the "because there's no direct evidence it must not be true" fallacy. This is pure Trumpism 101, essentially the position is of a person in a highly complex situation who wants a smoking gun, video proof, finger prints + blood etc before they will change their minds.

But life doesn't always work that way. Sometimes there are just too many coincedences that start adding up, with each occourance making it more and more and more likely to be true. But these ignorant people ignore what everyone else see's as obvious because they are blinded by identity politics. Whether this is Trumpism, Liberalism, or xecuterism is all the same, its just branding identity. The mind refuses to acknowledge rational data when presented with a challenge to one's identity system. Its a natural barrier that every human being has, and we all do it to some extent. Others....do it to a much more broad extent.

Fortunately, there actually is proof that xecuter steals code as there have been easter eggs specific to applications that were found in xecuters sx os release, so you can have your proof. But I still think you're completely entrenched in this stupid corporate xecuter identity, making you not see whats right infront of your face. You can read the details here -

I really would love to get clocks\temps readings right on the home menu (the menu where we can adjust brightness while in-game) and OC with voltage and everything...

Nah (at least I wont). Atmosphere is using a completely different approach for emunand than SXOS is. Atmosphere is using ARMv8's EL2/Hypervisor feature for its emunand, whereas SXOS uses FS patches

As long as it works I dont care how its done tbh lol. Will all that fancy armv8 el2 hypervisor wording make it undetectable by ninty? Not sure if its the only way, but people were saying they could check SD cards for an emunand, im assuming atmo will still need to store their files somewhere on the console, which "in theory" they can check. Although I dont know how they will if you dont ever connect to the internet with it. If you use choi to update it doesnt connect to anything, so even if a flag gets tripped how will it get sent to the big N?

Now if you could use that new emunand online with homebrew+piracy thats something to look forward to. Hope thats the case.
