Gaming Will there come out a new Wiimmfi patcher that works with Mario Kart Channel?

The old channel doesn’t work anymore because of the new server protections. Haven’t found any newly patched wads either.

Yup, always used it.
Doesn't work. It just errors when I try to connect.

Forgot the error, was a while ago. The error basicly means you'll need to use a new patcher. There have been update links for basicly anything (Automatic Wiimmfi Patcher, CTGP-R, ect) except for the WiiWare Patcher.

Doing some 00000001.app (DOL) editing, I think this can work. Since uploading a WAD here is too big, can you try to extract the RevoKartNR wad, then replace 00000001.app with this one and pack it, and see if it works?

I looked at the app file you uploaded. I didn't install it on a Wii but I looked at it in a hex editor and I'd say this is unlikely to work.

The problem is that the installed channel identifies to Wiimmfi as Mario Kart Wii (Wiimmfi can't detect if it's the game or the channel) and thus Wiimmfi requires the updated patcher, which is not compatible with the installable channel.

So, currently, there is no way to use the Mario Kart Wii installable channel, although we hope there will be one in the future.
