Gaming VLC Media Player being considered for Nintendo Switch

According to a tweet from Nintendo Life. VLC Media Player may be heading it's way onto Nintendo Switch:

This is good for many reasons but again it's just a consideration and NOT a confirmation it'll happen.

Since they're allowing two BASIC interpreters on the system, I guess we shouldn't be surprised they'd allow this.

I messed around with Kodi......it's okay, but I've been using VLC since the early years of the 2000's and would enjoy an official release.

Excellent. Kodi is good as well, but VLC is a quality program. Curious to see if all the features would be available, such as streaming and whatnot, if this becomes a thing.

Nintendo and Sony needs better support for apps like Microsoft did with xbox. Specially with swith and its handheld essence. Surely everybody has smartphone with android and whatever... but for my still worth it.
