Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

If I want to launch directly to nintendont menu can I just use homebrew injection with the nintendont .dol file so I can keep the games on my sd cards?

USB does not work with injects because the USB 2.0 module in the IOS is missing. There is nothing we can do about this, sadly.

You can install it to either the HDD or in the NAND. USB drives won't work either (excluding the Wii U formatted drive where the game is installed of course)

yeah when i install a game like the simpsons hit and run it installs but the icon shows a ??? instead of the original icon and says the data is corrupted

I think it's something to do with that one game Simpsons Hit & Run I remembered people having problems with it and I did a search result and other people have had problems getting it to work and I've seen no solution. It might be the one Gamecube game you just can't inject unfortunately I'm not sure why or if there's a fix. Try another game and see if you have problems if it works you'll know it's just the Simpsons game that doesn't work.

Only other thing to ask are you running some type of CFW before you run WUP Installer because you do need to. If you didn't uninstall the game, run CFW (Mocha or Haxchi) then run WUP Installer and reinstall it. If it doesn't work I can pretty much guarantee it's just that one game that won't work.

Here's another person that had problems with that game.

I know I told you the other day to remove the & and you said that didn't work, so try to reinstall it with CFW otherwise I'm out of ideas.

Yeah I think that game just doesn't work only thing you can do if you were trying a PAL version download the USA version and inject it instead if that still doesn't work you're out of luck.

Are you using "and" or "&" for the game description?
Game description doesnt support "&" so if your using this, use "and" instead.

Hi, thanks for this injector - working fine for wii and gamecube for me.

However I tried it with Homebrew UAE Wii - amiga emulator and script created the files which I installed to nand.

I have the relevant boot.dol in sd:/apps folder but the forwarder goes to a blank screen and I have to switch it off from power to make it reboot again - holding power on wiiu does nothing. Also tried installing to usb which is wiiu formatted.

Any advice?

Yes, it doesn't matter what region your console is as long as you run CFW you can play other region games and you have to run CFW anyway to play Gamecube injects so it won't hurt anything. It's worth a try.

Normally when you get "???" as the game icon is normally your using an un supported text/character for the game description but in your scenario this is not the case.
If you have a bad ISO of the game, you still wouldn't get a "???" as the game description, the icon should show correctly but the game will not load, so this issue is something different altogether.

As @JustinCredible advised, try the PAL version instead, I've already injected the USA version of this game and it's working fine, I have shared this game with others and it too is working fine.

I was able to successfully inject about 9 or 10 Gamecube Games; however, After successfully injecting the Wind Waker Randomizer ISO, I tried injecting Luigi's Mansion and it came up with an error saying essentially "Cannot complete task - press continue to ignore or quit to exit - error with game file permissions" I clicked continue once and the error message came back up, I clicked quit and now the Injector program WILL NOT open on windows at all. No matter what cache I clear, what I uninstall or remove/disable, it will not open.
I did a fresh Windows install on my other computer and the VC Injector program started up right when I double clicked the .exe, but it ran into the same error. The first time this happened my laptop had all the Gamecube games sitting in a folder on the desktop. On my second computer I copied the ISOs to a USB and moved them over to the new desktop, and reconfirmed permissions are set to current user/all, but the "file permissions" and various Net Framework Errors below it are really confusing, and now I don't think I can open this program without opening it on a fresh install of windows. I don't know if Windows Defender/firewall is stopping it from opening but I don't see any VC Injector processes or services running in the background. I've unplugged my batteries and did everything I could to dump any kind of cache the computer is holding to prevent this program from launching but I'm at an impasse and could use some help if anyone else has experienced anything similar when trying to prepare the files?

Everything I've injected so far works perfectly on my Wii U so I'm really confused as to why it just stopped working all of a sudden.

I've seen other people have that happen where it won't open, but I never saw a fix. The program is just buggy, and the creator stopped working on it. Only thing I could recommend if you have another computer try it on it.

You could also check if your computer has any saved restore points and restore your system to before it got stuck.

so my iso may be bad? because it works fine with nintendont but i will tr downloading other one thanks
