After a fair bit of teasing, SEGA has finally released Atlus's cult puzzle-RPG Catherine onto Steam. To differentiate from Japan's upcoming Catherine: Full Body remake, the PC port is called Catherine Classic, and consists of the same game that released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011. Featuring music from Persona series composer Shoji Meguro, and character design done by Shigenori Soejima, Catherine Classic is a game that puts you in the shoes of a man named Vincent, who must make his way through crumbling towers in his dreams in order to figure out the insanity that his life has taken on. Offering an unlocked framerate, and support for up to 4K, this marks Atlus's first foray into porting their games to the PC platform. You can buy it now for $19.99.

But now when there's an upcoming enhanced version of the game coming up that features more content, even a new girl.
Makes me want to skip the pc version in favour of picking up the new game instead.

the problem is the remastered deluxe version that has a new freaking girl in it, releases February 14, 2019 and just a month shy of that date pc gets this garbo. a total skip for me

You DO realize this version of the game has close to 80 hours worth of gameplay, right? Just because you get an extra story branch in the new one, it doesn't mean this is a bad game...

never said it was a bad game. just that it's a slap in the face. i own the ps3 and 360 versions. i was going to buy full body. since its not coming to steam i'm forced to get the ps4 version. i have no intentions of supporting a "classic version" Even if its on my preferred platform if its releasing A MONTH BEFORE A SUPERIOR VERESION!
