nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

If it's an earlier game, then no, it doesn't.
Kirby Canvas Curse has the same issue. That one works fine, but doesn't load the saved data.

I tried again Mario vs Donkey Kong Mini Land Mayhem - without card - invisible sprites - with card: the sprites are showed but totallly messed, like a mass of trash impossible to identify

I had an o3ds and I had bootstrap with several ds games with saves using the forwarder. Just got a New Nintendo 3ds today and copied everything to the roms/nds folder including the saves but none of the saves work.

To use saves with the latest bootstrap you need to create a new folder in your ds roms folder rename the new folder to saves and place all your old saves in the new folder.

What's new?

• Loading speeds have improved for some thumb games.
  swi Halt is no longer hooked into (as it isn't for thumb games), and instead, timer 0 and 1 overflow IRQs are hooked into.
  As a result, lags in GTA Chinatown Wars are now minimal.
• In addition, load speeds are now much faster in SDK5 games!
  As a result, there's no more overworld lag in Pokemon B&W 1&2!

Bug fixes

• To work around the crashing while loading SNES Choco Island, Mario Kart DS is no longer loaded into RAM on 3DS consoles.
• Fixed soft-reset not working on DSi consoles with HiyaCFW.

Thanks for the update and installed the update resulted in a white screen on Pokemon white version 2 but I overwite the rom file with another one and its now working with no lag.

Ok a game not on the compatibility list Tecmo Bowl Kickoff (USA). Game seems to work fine but randomly goes to black screen. It let's me exit the game with home menu without having to reboot 3DS. Any chance of a fix for this?

The current list only has games that have been tested on the newer versions, the old list had pretty much all but got taken down. Make sure the black screens don't happen around the same time, as it may be an AP issue, meaning you should look into AP patches for it if there are any.
