Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

This is my first time commenting on GBATemp so first of all Thank you for such amazing work Rob.

Now here's the thing. I been following this project from TWLoader throught DSIMenu++ now TwilightMenu without issues, from TWLoader to the first TwilightMenuversions I has able to load all the saves from the Pokemon games but with the latest release I can't.
This didn't occur with the first versions of TwlightMenu but with the last two versions I updated 6.something and now 7.0.0 I can't load any of the saves from various pokemon games. All my games are AP patched, I moved all the .sav to SDroot/saves/ folder and nothing. I even start a new game I saved normally but when I reset the game to load the save doesnt exist even thought the game itself save with no problem.

The last time I was able to save and load without trouble was Sep/11/18 according to the .sav file. I don't remember what versio nof Twilight I was using.

The "saves" folder should be in your .nds ROM folder.

If I launch the twilight app on my 3ds all works fine and the roms all load the saves fine. But if I load the ds games using the forwarders I created the saves are not found so I then moved them out of the save folder and back to the roms folder and they load the saves fine. Why are the forwarders not finding the saves in the save folder but find them fine the old way of having them in the roms folder.

Your forwarders are out of date, as the forwarder template has been updated.
Remake your forwarders for them to read the "saves" folder.

Might actually be handy if you put that information in the update instructions on Github so as others don't have this issue.

Except TWiLight Menu++ isn't related to the forwarders though.

Except it is as the forwarders load the ds games through TWilight so if TWilight is updated and stop the forwarders working correct it would make sense to warn people in the update instructions that they need to do thire forwarders again.

The exact folder where it has the .nds file(s).

Ok still not able to load older saves but now I can make new saves and load without problem but the new saves are 256k and the older saves are 512k. Could that be the problem. My Pokemon saves (the ones I can't load) are from the Dsimenu++.

The size isn't the issue.
It's possible your ROM or save names are different from each other.
If they're the same, but with different extensions, then it could be an nds-bootstrap issue.

Both the save and the roms are named the same. I have Bootstrap v1.3 and Luma v9.1 so I'm not sure whats the problem.

I had do dowload an older version v6.1.3 and everything works just like before. No the solution i was looking for but at least it works, sadly I'll have to stick to an older version.

Hello. I tested Club Penguin: Herbert's Revenge. The game boots and plays, however there's one big problem.
After obtaining the Puffle Whistle in Mission 1, you can't progress through the mission. There's supposed to be a menu you can access in the HUD after obtaining the whistle, but it never displays. I believe it's an anti-piracy check that the game has. This is not reported in the compatibility list in the OP, so I thought it was worth mentioning.

mine works with the latist Twlight menu (7.0.0) and nds-bootstrap (0.14.1) and loads the saves no problem

Are there two different versions of the bootstrap? Mine is v1.3 which I think is the latest. I updated through safebs9installer about two months ago but you say you have 0.14.1.

Or what do you mean something different?

boot9strap and nds-bootstrap are two different things.
nds-bootstrap is the part where it loads the launched DS ROM from the SD card.

Go into TWiLight Menu++ settings.
If you don't see the nds-bootstrap version or the "No version available" text, then you're on an out of date TWiLight Menu++ version.
