Xecuter Presents SX OS v2.5.2 'STABLE'

TX Rolling Along With Release After Release In The Year Of The SX 2019!
SX252.jpg

Team-Xecuter has not slowed down for one day since the New Year started a week ago, and now have rolled out what everyone has been screaming for a while now, where is the next 'STABLE' edition, there has been enough 'BETA' versions, well here it is now! :)
We received plenty of feedback following our recent 2.5.1 beta release.

So today, we're back with a small bug fix release. But more importantly, many of you have asked us why we're not releasing any STABLE versions of SX OS anymore. Those people can rejoice, SX OS v2.5.2 is an officially supported stable release! This means that both the stable and beta channels are fully in sync now; feature- and functionality-wise.

This release addresses two small bugs:
  • Fixed issue with installing split XCI / NSP
Some split content file sizes were causing issues for some people, this is no longer the case!
  • Fixed issue with deleting files after XCI / NSP installation
Deleting the original XCI/NSP files after installation was introducing some crashes and side effects for certain users. We investigated this issue and are happy to let you know its now a thing of the past!
That's it for today, people. Keep an eye out for our coming updates!
(As usual, please remember all of TX latest releases & apps, can be found on their SX Portal website)

People justifying their $25: "Wow! Team Xecuter is really fast!"
Me as an intellectual: "They just released it to make a stable update"

Any idea how NOT to make it autoboot SXOS if I got a license.dat file included? It's super annoying if I haven't make it autoboot itself... it just does it.

Hi is there any way to unmount a xci file. I have made some test and when a xci file is mounted the switch use a lot more battery.

dude, we are talking here about $25. seriously! the switch itself is more than 10x times that.

Anyone else have an issue where they get a "Downloadable content cannot be played" message after installing an XCI?
you have zero idea about how software development works, buddy.

For me its NOT working yet "Superstar mod" on Mario Odyssey with the new 2.5.2 stable... :(
The mod itself probably isn't compatible to 6.2 or it uses a different level of layerdfs either way the creator needs to update it for it to work seeing how the mod was created back in Oct.
What I don't understand is why every sxos update changes its behavior to game mods.

Weird. It's the first time I heard anyone having that issue.
I don't think it is firmware related i have had the issue since i startede using sx-os.
I have tried to leave the switch in sleep mode 12 hours with a xci mounted and without and the difence is 40 %
I don't know if it's only my switch it could be cool if another would try to do so :-)

:rofl2::rofl2: You're right, I don't. But what on Earth does that have to do with my question?

DLC content worked before when just mounting an XCI. It doesn't work after installing the XCI.

Wait a sec, why does TX have to have a new thread per release, even minor betas?

I do know this isn't a beta, but it does get a new thread per release in the front page

it's ok.. $25 USD is probably his entire wage per year.. Chile isn't renowned for being a wealthy country.
You shouldn't make fun of people living in third world countries. :teach: For them, every pennies count. Not their fault. That said, I know the guy has a reputation as a troll. As the saying goes, don't feed them.
