There are no good GBA emulators other than the official Virtual Console one. The 3DS simply isn't powerful enough. TempGBA on the DSTWO only exists because the DSTWO has a stupidly powerful chip in it that caused simply having the cart inserted to lower your system's battery life to somewhere around 2 hours.

GBA VC on the 3DS Is technically not an emulator

mGBA performance on a New model isn't even that different from TempGBA. Most games run fine if you can tolerate frameskip=1 (30 FPS). If you can figure out cheats there it's not a bad choice.

And the standard DS GBA emulators barely run games, as in compatability is so low that most are unplayable. GBArunner is getting good results now with a few titles, but cheat support is unlikely because it's not really an emulator, somewhat closer to the current VC injects.

do you know how use cheats in mgba ? that was the "priority" i have already the cht files if needed but don't know where put them and how active them in this emulator , because as said also last time i checked i read cheat support was not added yet... thank you very much

I haven't found a GBA emulator for the 3DS yet that matches the system's Virtual Console. And until someone modifies TWL or AGB_FIRM further to allow on-the-fly cheat support, then patching the ROM with toggle-able codes and putting it through VC is the next best thing.

because of the 300 limit too is not much viable inject many gbas games , and some cheats shouldn't be always active ( and think patching rom for insert a cheat thing take the code always active ) and if i have to every time patch a game for a cheat and then remove the patch at this point i could just use windows vba or similar and put save back... i wanted avoid all these steps by having directly a gba emu in the ds ( with flashcard) or a gba emu in the cfw'ed 3ds with built in cheat support ( the cht files like tempgba on supercard ds2 )

I just mentioned that patching them makes the cheats so you can toggle them. You only need to patch the games once, you decide if you want the cheats on when you first start the game. It's a lot less complex than people make it out to be.

i'm still searching emulators like mgba but with cheat support...
The only way any GBA games will ever run at full speed is with injects. mGBA runs very well compared to other GBA emus, and even it doesn't reach full speed often. Would you rather use cheats with injects or play your games at half speed or worse?
