Hacking Transfer games installed form cias/freeshop and *possibly* cfw from Hacked o3DSXL to N2DSXL

So i have a O3DSXL with Cfw 11.9 and lot of games installed by cia or freeshop. I'm planning to buy a N2DSXL since in Italian Gamestops it's on sale and it costs 99.99€ and it's lot of time that i want to buy it. My plan is to sell the 3DS BUT KEEPING the 16gb SD, then 70€ + 30€ from the o3ds (i asked some months ago and they said it would be 30€), then 10€ to the chineses for a micro sd 16gb, then using the pc method. I have read that games wouldn't be tranfered but eShops can be redownloaded, but in Nintendo's site it says that they would be transfered. I would also only copy the data just to be sure to not lose the games. Also the save datas would be saved since they're in the SD right?

Nintendo 3DS data that is stored in the SD card can only be read using the Nintendo 3DS that uses said data (otherwise piracy would just be copy/paste files into the SD card), 3DS games can be redownloaded only if you're using the same account were you purchased your games, pirated games can't be redownloaded in your 2DS unless you pirate them again, but the data stored in your old SD card won't be compatible with your new 2DS.

The best thing you could do is to do a System Transfer between your old 3DS and your new 2DS, with the 2DS running CFW too, but since you want to sell your old 3DS first I suppose this won't do.

You could, however, extract your save data from your old 3DS using Checkpoint and inject them again once you re-install all your games into your new 2DS, that way you won't lose your games progress.

Your other option, although, more on the technical side, is to extract your movable.seed file within your old 3DS system and inject it into your new 2DS, this will let the 2DS read the content of your old 3DS in the SD card as if it were from the new 2DS, but without tickets to match your games in the new console I'm unaware what issues you might have doing this, you will probably have to reinstall the games too.

On every case you do need your new 2DS hacked and running CFW.

• Back up the saves + extdata with Checkpoint or JKSM.
• Back up the saves for GBA VC games with GodMode9.
  
• Back up the ticket.db if you perform a System Transfer.
  
• If the 3DS is instead sold, dump all the games, DLCs, and updates into *.cia files with GodMode9.

Also where is stored movable.seed? I'm 13 but i'm an expert in computer! I also have an Uncle that works with PCs and he's a total expert, so for the 3rd option won't be a problem

Copy some the games off build some games to cia delete installed game and repeat

But if i dump movable.seed i can use the sd card in the new2ds or i can copy everything form the first to a micro too? Because i don't have a micro SD with an adapter in my O3DS

Should be, the movable.seed determines which files the 3DS can read, the place its stored doesn't matter as long as you copy and paste everything. I don't remember exactly where the movable.sed is, should be inside the private folder within the system.

I would also advice you to dump your ticket.db using one of the Pailect GM9 megascript, From section 2, steps 14 to 21 to backup your tickets, and section 4 to restore your tickets. https://3ds.hacks.guide/ctrtransfer.

But I insist though, messing with the console filesystem can be dangerous and cause damage to your console if you don't know what you're doing, the most safe and easy method would be to just backup your save files and reinstall everything again in the new 2DS.

Some people have sucky Internet speeds with data cap. If your collection is massive, searching for and redownloading everything will take longer than had one simply dumped their CIAs. Worse still is that rarer, niche games, DLCs, and updates are impossible to find these days since the CDN server side block.

I was under the impression that ctr transfers couldn't be done between an old 3DS to a new 3DS? Otherwise yeah that would be the easiest way to simulate a system transfer.

That is correct. Old and new series aren't interchangeable when using a full CTRTransfer, but the movable.sed itself is injectable. The reason against homebrew System Transfer is that Nintendo won't have a server-side record of the movable.sed going to the target 3DS.

These are my games, some are from freeshop (Dsiwares and Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly's world), except for UNO, Team Kirby clash dx, Kirby's Blowout blast, Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Dedede Drum Dash Deluxe. I also have Kirby Planet robobot cartridge, but i gave it to my brother since i have an Hacked 3ds.
