I have one more doubt, is a Wii U emulator possible for Nintendo Switch?

According to me, send the large number of remakes and remasters in this generation of consoles the delay of new games in this generation, most of all the lack of physical backwardness in PS4 and Switch, because in PS4 the old titles of PSX, PS2 and PS3 are digital format, something that no player likes by default, are creating remakes and remasters because the PS4 has no physical backward compatibility.

there are such negative things in this generation as paying for online, delaying new titles, creating remakes and remastering.

that's why I created this thread, to know if it's possible a Wii U emulator for Nintendo Switch, and since Nintendo was creating remakes of Wii U games for Switch because they do not give it physical backward compatibility with Wii U or 3DS, because:

1. As Switch does not have a disc player to be backward compatible with Wii U, aside from the dual Wii U screen with the Wii U GamePad to be backward compatible with the Wii U.

2. As Switch has its slot of cartridges too thin to be retrocompatible with 3DS, aside from the dual screen that had 3DS and not have the camera as to be retrocompatible with the 3DS.

Nintendo Switch has 4 GB RAM and an NVIDIA TEGRA 5, will this be enough to emulate the Wii U on Nintendo Switch?

:-)

It will not be enough, the reason we get Re-releases is due to Nintendo having the source code for their own games, all they do is recompile the games using the switch sdk.

The switch mimicking the wii u is a completely different ball game and I really don't think is possible

it´s mostly imposible, CEMU needs to work minimun with 8gb of ram, and the switch has 4gb, the NVIDIA TEGRA can do some work, but the 4gb of the switch
can´t move a emulator like CEMU, i know CEMU it´s a closed source progam, and make a emulator from scratch only for the switch it´s hard, currently all the emulators for switch are ports, removing the fact that even nintendo 64 and psp emulators don´t work at 100%. put our wiiu game on the switch can become a reallity if nintendo puts virtual-console on switch and then we can make injectors like wiiu and 3ds, for the moment ninty is porting most of the wiiu games +new content, the only good games left to port are, "super mario 3d world" and "xenoblades Chronicles X".

Perhaps this can be done with the launch of a revision of Switch in 2019.

with more power to emulate the Wii U and the 3DS and with a camera for use in certain 3DS and Wii U games.

I think with more internal storage than 16 GB of internal memory. I think 256 GB?

and a more decent screen resolution in portable mode than the original.

Will this switch revision be enough to emulate the Wii U or the 3DS?

I think such emulator isn't nessesary since switch is as port machine
the remakes are disposable garbage, they can delay the exit of new games that are not remakes.

therefore, an emulator of psx, ps2 and ps3 with compatibility of CD, DVD and Blu-ray is necessary for PS4, since this one does not have physical backward compatibility with these consoles.

A Wii U emulator would be necessary for Switch, since it does not have physical backward compatibility and could stop the creation of remakes of Wii U games with new content, remakes are useless.

Remakes don't really "delay new games", they just fill release gaps. If there weren't rereleases, Nintendo would go without any new releases for months at a time.

You will NEVER get Wii U emulation on the Switch. And you won't get playable Wii emulation either. The Switch is too weak for this.
As I said, a revision of Switch will be launched in 2019.

with more power, a decent resolution in portable mode, internal storage of 256 GB, a camera to take photos, create Miis based on facial photos and read qr codes, more interesting things.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooo.

Yeah, keep dreaming. Or at least provide sources for your completely made-up specs.

I don't think so but maybe Nintendo Switch 2 is possible for it. Since Nintendo Switch only has 4GB of RAM is not quiet enough to run Wii U games at all.

I will specify your technical specifications for the revision that will come to light in 2019:

1. RAM: Obviously, to emulate the Wii U you need more than 4 GB, 8 GB for review.

2. GPU: maybe they could have the NVIDIA TEGRA 5, but maybe they put a current RADEON GPU for the revision.

3. CPU: an AMD Sempron like the one used by my PC for the revision.

4. Internal storage, 256 GB of internal storage for review.

5. New hardware: a camera to take photos, create Miis based on facial photos and read QR codes for the review.

6. Resolution in Portable Mode: 720p in portable mode for review.

7 and finally: Resolution in TV mode: 4K in TV mode for the review.

you´r dreaming dude, there´s will no be a new switch revision in 2019, with 256gb? ninty never use a good storage in their consoles, a better resolution?, that sounds good, but ninty will not do a new switch, people are just fine with the switch now, the only thing that ninty needs is more good games and people will be happy, and ninty knows it. maybe nintendo releases a new revision but the changes must be minimun like a better battery, not a better resolution but maybe a better color palette screen, fix the hardware problems and that is. also with 256gb and a better screen you can not move an emulator is the same s**t, and everyone knows that nintendo will not improve their hardware considering that the switch can move AAA games like doom or wolfenstein. a better option for nintendo is to improve their sofware, a way to put official themes, virtual-console, real apps like netflix, and better servers.

pd: also, Why the hell we need a camera? even in the 3ds it was a waste.

pd2: the portable mode runs already in 720P .-. and 4K? really?

I think it is really not nessesary/possible, you really don't know how to make emulator specially dynarec.

Considering it requires a fairly decent PC just to get emulation running through Cemu I would imagine it would be near impossible

There's a particular game on the Wii U that I would love to play and I seriously doubt will ever be ported over to the Switch (SM3DW). So I'm of the opinion if I want that game I'd need to pick up a second hand unit

You're making up specifications based on the need to emulate the WiiU.

Is that Nintendo's priority?

I'll have some of what you're smoking
