Not 100% true, if people already have the version of SSBU that was leaked early installed, odds are they will stick with that copy until sx os release a fix for 6.2 as the leaked copy doesn't have the day 1 patch that will force people to have the latest firmware installed.

Good on them for having the patches for 5.x and 6.1.0 and not forcing everyone to upgrade to 6.2.0

Thanks for the clarification! I'm still going to wait for sx os to come out with a 6.2 patch before I install a proper rip but i'm sure this info will help others who decide to install the game tomorrow

The update for 6.1.0 is a corrupt nsp that tinfoil won't install. The patched update for 5.X works fine. shows as software version 1.1.0 for me. Don't know if its a community made patch this is not mentioned from the source sites but new spirits have been added and a hard difficuly to adventure mode

nah my sons already finished Smash he's moved onto Just cause 4 thanks to CPY

I personally believe that SX developers should disclose to customers about reason to take longer or not update at all, but they may won't because they don't want Nintendo to find out.

Is 6.2 broke the CFW for first time?
