Hacking How come SX OS hasn't been updated yet?

6.2.0 is much more stable, according to nin.

apparently they are having trouble with getting emunand to work

check this guy out, he's a great coder and has been following the scene for quite some time (its in spanish though):

I did install quite a lot of Switches using emunand and having zero issue. Most of the worst issues could be fixed based on experiences. Well, I have to say, emunand isn't ready for average usrers yet. Some Switches work really well on the first try but for some won't work and need a specific solution or so to fix.

whats the rush for an update anyway?, have I missed something

i'm on 6.1 and everything works fine. I'm more interested in TX releasing a new gui for game browsing and an updated cheat engine than I am in 6.2 compatibility.

I think compatibility with the newest firmware should take priority. Also hacking the "unhackable" units. Their UI is pretty acceptable, I personally think the quicker we get all hardware/software compatible the better.

I guess that confirms that they're having issues with emuNAND.

To be honest, apart from having a 1 changed to a 2 in this new firmware - it's not going to make any difference to most users to get their firmware updated yet.

1: Currently all released games work.
2: SXOS - all features work.
3: Emunand works.

Personally I could easily wait a few months for a decent/good bug free update - rather than TX rushing out an update that would be buggy and as I never use ordinary firmware nowadays, it's kind of not needed as all the games & updates I have work fine.

I'd like it if sx os made a file manager where we could delete/rename files etc, rather than support an update - but that's just me I guess.

My guess is they don't want to ship an update with only one feature, it seems like they've tried to have at least 3 features in all of their updates. That's just a guess though

Those idiots should have created a nand dump before updating, You can update and play online with OFW - but keep your emunand on 6.1.0 and not update that. It's only CFW that doesn't work with 6.2.0. Even then those idiots can still use atmosphere in the meantime while they are waiting. Maybe they should try reading a few posts before being so stupid for future reference.

And there are some idiots that enjoy cfw on 6.1 emunand while being able to play latest ofw offline.

Maybe they don't want a repeat of last time when the same bugs found in Atmosphère were found in SXOS, so they are waiting for any bugs like those to be ironed out BEFORE stealing the code.
