IIRC correctly that's normal since your sd is essentially spoofed as an emulated NAND there is no other sd. There may be an option to enable read and/or write access to it though u can turn on and try but I think it carries the risk of currupting the data on the device. I think when you go through the modmii menus it tells you a bunch of this stuff too, I tried to document as much as possible within the app because there's so many moving parts.I have a issue, when I built a Sneek Nand with ModMii, it worked completely fine, up until the point where I realized it could not read my SD Card. Is this normal, or is it a issue with my NAND?
Is it also normal that the USB HDD is not read in Sneek NAND?*removed deleted quote*

How are you trying to access it? from which homebrew? Is it also normal that the USB HDD is not read in Sneek NAND?
It is a 2gb drive, trying to access it with postloader to install the homebrew channel. It is readable in regular Nand mode and on the other wii that I have (does not have Sneek installed.) I have tried with three different drives and none of them work. How are you trying to access it? from which homebrew?
be sure it's compatible with the homebrew you are using (mbr, fat32, less than 2tb partition, not hidden with ustealth?), try another usb device to see if it's a problem with your drive.
Maybe I'm wrong here, but that's what comes to mind.
same here when i try same download as above option 1 2 or 11 12 all kick right back to main menu.I'm trying to grab the d2x-V10-beta52/3 (first two options) from the Beta page but Modmii keeps kicking me back to the Page 4 selection when I enter either 1 or 2 and then enter. Any ideas why?
can you point me to where this file is?2GB ? then it's a flash drive. not the best compatibility with FAT32 and Wii/WiiU consoles. I don't know if compatibility is different from realNAND and emuNAND. it might depend on the IOS currently loaded and the homebrew you are using.
I don't know postloader, but why would you want to install the homebrew channel to/from usb ?
homebrew launched on neek are not the best idea, they are rarely working when trying to access SD/USB devices.
postloader is a system menu replacement, right? you want to launch it on sneek to replace the sneek system menu interface? so, you want to install HBC to sneek, and list it from postloader?
then you want to mount the USB with a wad manager? there are guide to install HBC to neek.
If USB can't be accessed from sneek, you can try the sneek+SD access module, then homebrew should be able to access and list the same partition's content than the one where neek emunand folder is located.
It's supposed to do that but if you look the names of the d2x cios's on page 4 would have changed from v8 final to the beta version you selected.I'm trying to grab the d2x-V10-beta52/3 (first two options) from the Beta page but Modmii keeps kicking me back to the Page 4 selection when I enter either 1 or 2 and then enter. I can confirm it is behaving as it's supposed to and no bugs are present (at least for me but I suspect for everyone). Selecting a beta d2x version just changes what's available for download using ModMii (ie from d2x v8 final to something else like v10beta52/53), it doesn't actually queue anything for download. So after selecting your version of d2x, you still need to choose a cios to download on download page 4 (ie by entering "24957" or "REC" for example). Or you can just run any wizard or syscheck updater, all guides and behaviour will use the selected beta version of d2xIt's supposed to do that but if you look the names of the d2x cios's on page 4 would have changed from v8 final to the beta version you selected.
Now if even that isn't happening I will have to investigate more, please report back, thanks.
Nintendo WFC servers already shut down 4.5 years ago...Brand spankin' new to the Homebrew scene. I've done Smash Stack (HBC and BootMii backups) but USB Loader GX says I can't load disc-based games with my current IOS (which is 58).
Anyways, I was directed here in the hopes that I can change the IOS, but with the most recent post update, I'm now scared that I'm running out of time to take advantage of something. What exactly will I be missing when Nintendo's servers shut down?

Just use modmii, everything is still online and available. The warning is more if a precautionary measure to counter the worst case scenarioBrand spankin' new to the Homebrew scene. Cool, thanks. I figured none of this stuff required internet connection anyway, but I saw the notice and how recent it was and I panicked a bit hahaJust use modmii, everything is still online and available. The warning is more if a precautionary measure to counter the worst case scenario
