Free-to-play 'The Elder Scrolls: Blades' mobile game delayed to 2019

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a free-to-play first person RPG set in the Elder Scrolls universe designed for Android and iOS devices, was initially set for a Fall 2018 release after being announced during Bethesda's E3 2018 Conference.

However, in a recent tweet from the official The Elder Scrolls Twitter account, the game has been pushed to an Early 2019 release.

Interested gamers can still sign up for Early Access.

Honestly after seeing all the ads, this game looks like trash. I don't think it'll be worth it at all and with how 76 is looking, this will be a freemium micro transaction fest with likely very little redeeming qualities. I doubt it'll even resemble any Elder Scrolls game.

Honestly, just having better controls can make this game better.

Be prepared this will be a taste after Fallout 76, how Elder Scrolls 6 will become trash.
I know they said they are going us the same engine as Fallout 4 and 76 for the next Skyrim, but they still have time to change their mind or at least, not be as buggy as 76.

It might seem a little picky of me, but I really hope they use a different engine for Starfield or TES:VI.

It'll be a hard pass if I have to end up paying full price for what is essentially a mod made by Bethesda.

Good, hopefully Bethesda is thinking twice about releasing a shit game after the FO76 fiasco. Always better to release a good game late, than a bad game on time.

i guess was the only goon wanting to play this ...... i will have to carry on playing Morrowind on my phone ....

No, I wanted to give it a try, if it wasn't flooded with micro transactions and whatnot. What they showed made it basically look like a mobile, slimmed down Skyrim.

Please delay it forever....Bethesda.....wtf has happened to you..
They've been watching EA with envy for quite some time apparently. First they tried to pull that paid mods bullshit, then they canceled it when too many people complained, then they brought it back with FO76 when they stopped releasing their games on Steam. I hear the implementation is even worse the second time. They plan to release both TES6 and Starfield on the Creation engine (same as FO76 and every Beth game all the way back to Morrowind), so those games will look ugly as sin by the time they release and we're on to the PS5/XB2 generation.

I guess Bethesda really is counting on iD games to carry their profits from now on. It's too bad because I was looking forward to RAGE2 and the new DOOM, but I can't support these shitty business practices so I'll probably have to pirate those games.

I mean you would still be supporting ID by purchasing it, so I probably will .
