YouTube officially lands on the Switch eShop

After rising rumors during the last couple of days, Nintendo has confirmed the inevitable: YouTube is officially available on the Nintendo Switch's eShop as of today.

Nintendo's official announcement reads the following:
Kick back, relax and enjoy all of YouTube on your Nintendo Switch. There's entertainment for everyone, like music videos, movies, gaming livestreams and the latest viral sensations. Explore a world of videos with personalised recommendations and easy access to your channel subscriptions. So grab your friends, family and your controller, and enjoy YouTube together.

Available as a free download, the official YouTube app requires 93.32 MB to install, supports 11 languages and can be played in Handheld mode, Tabletop mode and TV mode.

I don't think the Wii U had any problems with Netflix or Hulu? I'm pretty sure YouTube was fine as well. Even if they did they can be easily patched with a firmware update/application update.

YT, yes, but Netflix and Amazon Prime? I still think it's BS, but whatever.
the switch utilizes an ARM processor, ARM is not the safest platform, wii u was powerpc which is more secure (the wii exploits were all due to nintendo being complete idiots leaving open doors everywhere).
so they most likely are trying to limit the amount of risks as much as possible by leaving out apps that don't have much to do with the focus of the system (gaming, not media) or testing extra hard (taking much more time) to not leave any door open.

dude, there's one thing called HDMI Hub, it allows you to plug multiple device at same port, then just press a button to switch signal.
Nice, didn't know about that. Will try getting one soon then.
