I love that we have the ability to customize the portal in the first place, but what works for desktop can be really inconvenient on mobile. Having it load different portals based on whether or not you're on mobile would be very intuitive and lead to a smoother experience.

out of curiosity, what would you enable or disable on mobile, compared to your desktop-specific home page?

Not OP, but I’d personally disable the comic, download, and Facebook panels for mobile, just so there isn’t extra stuff loading in the background. Would also push up recent content over reviews for mobile, too, because doing so on desktop messes with the way I like my layout to be. Maybe also have the shoutbox higher. It’d be pretty cool if possible.

For me it would more be about reordering what's there based on the idea of only the page being 1 card wide instead of 3. For example, my desktop home page goes left to right as Scene News, Reviews, and Recent Content with some of the other elements stacked in the middle row. On mobile however, it stacks row on top of each other starting from the left so it takes several full page scrolls (6 just for Scene News) just to get to what is on the top of my desktop page to the right. So Personally I'd stack it so Recent Content and Reviews are above Scene News so it'd be way less scrolls to see everything I want to when I hit the front page.

Thanks for listening Costello.
