Hacking NSP to XCI, is there an easy method?

This is a easy Drag and Drop bat file that converts NSPs to XCI.

Just drag one NSP onto NSP_2_XCI.bat and all NSPs in the folder you dragged it from will convert to XCI.

Requirements:
Python needs to be installed. I tested python 3 but 2 should work.
keys.txt needs to be in "tools" folder.

Does it cleans the ticket and cert before converting to XCI?

Yes, It removes everything but the necessary NCA files that are needed for the XCI.

Pretty simple..I'm gonna convert all my nsps into xcis

Yeah, I made this for converting unmodded NSPs. I can add the feature to run with ticketless NSPs its just going to take a bit.

That would be great, I only have a few but they are bigger games and I don't wanna re get them.

What should be the last key? meaning I have a pretty large key list and I don't think all of them are needed as it even includes dev units. Is it ok if it has more than what's needed?

If you open "PLACE_KEYS.txt_HERE" with a text editor (i.e notepad++) it will show you the keys needed.

if the nsp has no ticket already it wont convert them though @Bigjokker anyway around that?

@Conex Well I tried to fix the batch to work but the NUT program requires the tik file and will not run.

Let's be honest, you're banning yourself by doing that.

See that argument doesn't work for me. A ban is something that is beyond your control while 90DNS+Airplane mode isn't. I can go online anytime i damn well please and if i was banned i wouldn't be able to. So no, it's not a self ban, it's a precaution AGAINST a ban

I finally managed to get this working, for people having trouble here are the steps I followed (assuming you have keys.txt filled out correctly)

1) Download and install the latest version of Python, 3.7.0
2) Add the following to Path environmental variables (Computer -> System Properties) to include ;C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37-32
3) Every time I tried to convert to XCI i would receive "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'colorama'" and would generate an empty XCI file

• Open command prompt and enter pip install colorama
• Drag nsp file to NSP_2_XCI.bat and it should work this time

Successfully converted a few eshop games and so far so good. Good work Bigjokker & JRoad

I tried Converting an NSP using NUT_BT.bat (because some reason it wont run the game saying like the owner account is unlinked, so i need to remove the license stuff)

output:
root.hfs0 <- same size with the given nsp
[game].xci <- [Smaller] varies Size

what does this mean?

I would like to know this as well. Merge base game + updates + DLC to a single NSP and then convert to XCI using NSP_2_XCI.bat
