Hello, i have a PS Vita on 3.67 firmware which i managed to hack once using h auto encore, but my brother was afraid of his account being banned so he formatted the console.

The problem is since then i cannot connect the PS Vita to my PC with USB or Wifi. When i try to connect with USB using Qmca it gives the following error: "The connection to the PC was lost" and when i try with wifi, after the Qmca generates the code, i receive the following error on Vita: "Network connection lost"

I have tried the following things without any sucess

- Install Libsk driver with Zadig
- Use Sony original CMA
- Rebooting the PC and the PS vita
- Airplane mode

Im running out of ideas here. By the way my PS Vita is still 3.67 firmware so that is not the problem.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me with this

Uninstall cma
Uninstall qcma
Restart pc
Install qcma again but this time select the lilusb0 driver
Close content manager on vita
turn on airplane mode
open content manager on vita
open qcma

I made an account just to help you out because I was having an issue to. I fix mine but not sure how because i did a lot of stuff. Fist off all uninstall everything like they told you. Also uninstall the driver. Mostly like it will say ps vita b because that’s what mine said. Uninstall content manager on your computer. This you do not need at all. Reinstall qcma and reconnect the vita. It should work. If it doesn’t go to qcma setting. Go on the second tab. There should be something about custom firmware. Mess with those those and keep trying to connect the vita with the content manager app on the vita. It should connect. Keep trying like how I did and it worked. Took me 2 hrs lol. I think the main issue was I install content manager on the pc. I heard the driver conflicts with qcma.

When I had this issue I had to sign in to my PSN account through the settings app, which itself caused issues as I have 2 factor authentication which doesn't work the normal way on Vita. I had to log in to a website (Which they took about 45 minutes to send me) and get a one time password to log in with.

After i had an account on there it connected fine.

Hey when you try to log on with WiFi did you have ur dns set to the blocking updates. Try putting to auto. Another user I was trying to help out had issues and that worked for him.
It shouldn’t be an issue cause I’ve had the blocking dns in my WiFi setup and it didn’t interfere. But hey why not try it if out of options. I think what happened with his was vita activated but wasn’t signed in.

The problem is that i already did that, uninstalled everything (Sony original CMA included) reinstalled, used airplane mode and it still did not work, but i will try again, maybe i did something wrong. And thanks for creating a account just to help me

I thought about that, but if i try to sign in the vita asks to update, and as far as i know FW 3.69 breaks h encore.

Mine is not signed in too, but its because it asks for a update if i try. I have no idea if my router have this option.

No it would be in your WiFi setup for vita. Goto which ever network u are connected to and choose advanced settings and then scroll down and check dns

Don’t reinstall content manager at all. That’s what I think was my issue. You don’t need it. Uninstall everything software, drivers, etc. So what I’m going off you reinstall content manager.
