Has anyone had any luck with being able to capture Game Boy or Game Boy Color virtual console games using KitKat or Snickerstream without the nasty discoloration?
According to the dev of KitKat, it's a bug with either the NTR firmware or BootNTR itself that causes a filter to be applied to the frames sent when GB/GBC/NES virtual console is running, so it has nothing to do with the client/PC side of things. The games look fine on the n3DS screen itself and for original Game Boy games, you can manually color correct them back to monochrome in OBS....but it would be awesome to be able to capture VC games without this issue, especially since nothing will fix the discoloration for Game Boy Color stuff. I know homebrew emulators work just fine; I'd still like to be able to play my legit VC copy of Shantae and capture it, though.
(And if you were wondering, Game Gear's Virtual Console emulator is completely different and works fine with NTR streaming)
