Once you updated to 6.0 firmware, the game will stop working.
I won't be updating at the moment, so I'm good.

If you had a game with pirated DLC, then let that game connect to the eshop to check for updates... yeah, getting banned isn't too surprising.
Its nice to be banned, now you don't care to use any hack or homebrew just for fun. welcome to the club
Unless what you want is to go onlineYes. There's a new sense of freedom, like my Switch has cut the umbilical cord from Nintendo and is now independent to do whatever I want.

You are on CFW, you pirate games, you connected to Nintendo's server. But it's the game's fault you got banned. SMH
Don't want to get banned? Dont install CFW.
Don't want to get banned but you want to have CFW, at least do not pirate games.
Don't want to het banned but you want to pirate games? Don't freaking connect to nintendo's server. Ban yourself from their servers before they get the chance to ban you. *insert roll safe meme here*

This is a forum for CFW, what are you doing here if you are not using it?
No, it's not. Well, it is. But you don't need to be using it.
Didn't pirate and was banned. You are on CFW, you pirate games, you connected to Nintendo's server. But it's the game's fault you got banned. SMH

People don't agree with you and yours so you resort to name calling? Cute..You mean: Nintendo and their flying monkeys around here?
Is this a ban report even worth collecting? I already have enough evidence that .NSP files can cause bans (though .NSP-only bans only started on firmware 6.0 for some reason). This seems more like a witch-hunt than an actual analytical breakdown of what causes a bans.
And just so we're all on the same page, we're up to now 11 cases of homebrew only bans. A pinball game is certainly the least of your worries.
I have a clean hack-free NAND and deleted all of my Wi-Fi settings in my console. The only way I would be banned for installing this DLC is if I happen to walk past a Nintendo Hotspot. A smart person can avoid a ban no matter what hacks they use.I am just warning people about this particular game because it forces you to turn on the wifi and connect to some servers to download additional files. This Pinball game is a hazard if you don't want to be banned. I took the risk because I don't care, but I think I did the right think to warn users here.
If you don't believe me, and don't care about being banned then install this game and some DLC. Let us know the result.

Nope. I went online every week to check out new games on the eShop. In fact I use the eShop a couple minutes before running that Pinball game. Right after running it and getting error messages, I went back to the eShop and got a banned message.sounds like you got banned because you finally went online. it was coming with or without pinball
