Just spoof 3.69 and download them from the store.
This. Until Sony actually adds something to a new firmware, games should work just fine. A lot of what prevents you from playing newer games (for a time, anyway) is a simple line of text that basically says "This game needs 3.xx."
If Sony decided to change encryption/decryption between firmwares, that's when it becomes an issue.
But that's where NoNPDRM and compatibility packs come into play.
Right now, the newest firmware is too new for there to have really been any games that would rely on any changes in 3.69. They would have been too far into Sony's approval process and would be "grandfathered in" only requiring what 3.68 was doing, and only needing that text-based 3.69 requirement.
In a few months, that will have probably changed.
