My friend got some games on an exploited 5.05 ps4, and I was wondering if there was a way to copy them to a usb or directly transfer them to my ps4?
Already tried apptousb and it keeps moving all the games and my usb can't handle all of them, and I want to copy the games I want while leaving the rest

you need a decently sized external hard drive for this.

1) run app2usb on his ps4 and make sure the pkg files get copied to his external hard drive.
2) connect the hard drive to your pc and copy that pkg file to your own hard drive (root)
3) install.

You don’t even need a PC with the method I posted...

If he has the games on one ps4, enable hen 1.7 plug in his blank drive and format as extended storage, copy the installed games from ps4 to hdd, unplug, plugin to other PS4, run hen 1.7, move to internal. IIRC.

sounds like a lot of work. that's why I keep copies of all installed pkgs on an external hdd. :)

I personally prefer using app2usb because I can easily copy my pkg files to another hard drive (or I can be selective about which ones I copy). The extended method is good for just not having to use a pc but not as good for back up purposes.

But can I use app2usb to copy only the games I want while leaving the rest on the hdd?
