Hello everyone, i've just bought a cheap (45€) xbox 360 slim with 4Go memory everything is fine with it, i thought it was a corona V2 / V4 / V6 , but when i've opened it (to clean and identify it) and i saw this :

I've remove the module, booted the console and...it works, so, is my xbox 360 slim a Corona V1 or a V2 / V4 / V6 ? Thanks in advance dor your time, have a good day / noon / night :)

So mine is a Trinity ? :o (it also has the Hana chip) Also, the shop where i bought it gave me a 12V 9.6A PSU, if it's a trinity, isn't that dangerous for it ?

It's a mat slim.

What does the back of the console say?
The Voltage should also be listed there.
i didn't saw it at first, but i looked again and it says 10.83A so it's a Trinity yay :D

Anyone got a RGH 2 Tutorial on Trinity ? The pictures aren't present anymore on the GBATemp Guide :/

You should try the S-RGH v2 method together with a X360 Ace v3 (or anything else with a 150 MHz crystal).

okay, where can i find a tutorial on the wiring ? is this one okay for S-RGH 2 ? https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Puce-Pulse-...322788?hash=item3fa6241764:g:or4AAOSwnEZbUJuH

Yes, you can also buy this one for half the price
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/X360ACE-V3-...837798?hash=item3d45ba3b26:g:xAkAAOSwNqtZnVQH

Download the timing files from here:

EDIT1:
Here are t he install pictures for trinity boards:
trinity_acev3_install_2048x2048.png
Bottom_of_trinity_install_2048x2048.png

EDIT2:
The installation goes like this:

1) Wire up the X360Ace v3 like in the above diagram
2) Wire up your NAND dumping device and dump the NAND with whatever tool you want to use (I recommend the J-Runner unofficial build by BenMittnick or something like that).
3) Dump your NAND at least 2 times and compare if they match
4) From the S_RGH_v2.rar archive, select the "S_RGH_v2.rar\TRINITY\speedup\TRINITY_ACE.ecc" file as your source and hit "Write ECC".
5) Program your Ace v3 as stated in the "how_to_find_good_file.txt" file in the root of the S_RGH_v2.rar archive to get the best glitch times.
6) Get your CPU Key
7) From the S_RGH_v2.rar archive copy the "S_RGH_v2.rar\TRINITY\speedup\smc.bin" file in your current J-Runner working dir (there is an extra button within J-Runnre if you can't find it on your own.
8) Create the latest xeBuild Image with J-Runner - it will notify you there is a smc.bin file in the current working dir and if you want to delete it - say no.
9) Flash the xeBuild Image with your NAND Writer or Xell and your are finished.

Are these the latest/best timing files for the X360 Ace v3? Also how well does the default factory installed timing file work on the X360 Ace v3?
Just trying to decide if its really worth fiddling with the timing files or not.

Default timing is for Corona. So if you have a trinity you will have to flash ACE. Sometimes default timing works really good for Coronas sometimes you have to flash dif timings to get better boot times.

These are not the default / latest files - they are custom files made by 15432 who created the S-RGH method.
The Ace v3 that I linked above on ebay is a clone that might come with no file preprogrammed at all or just any random file the cloners found online, because the v3 files were never made public by the manufacturer.

Sorry I should have clarified that I know these arn't the original/default Ace v3 timing files, but I just wondered if they were the latest versions of 15432's timing files.
Also, I have an original Ace v3 that I purchased some years ago - I dont suppose there is anyway to dump the original timing file so I can revert back if I have problems with the others?

If you have a Trinity there is no point to flash back a stock Corona file. All Aces Ive ordered have all came with Corona timing default.

- Yes, these are the last / most up to date files that 15432 released.
- Afaik no, there is no way to read the timing files from a glitcher.
You can find reports online that state the v3 versions use the same timing files as the v1 and v2 variants (which are public) - but I wouldn't bet on it.

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.

i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
