Cant wait for a build with sound!! I have nice blue tooth headphones, but the option for cheap wired headphones or the switch speakers are far more practical for a portable!

Incredible the quality of the gba
Without shading the games are horrible but look at this... Wow, that makes you want to do it, doesn't it?
I want sound from lakka, I wait while eating popcorn

Y'all don't even notice the fullspeed N64 ?
Yes the fullspeed n 64 varies between 20 or 30 fps max, only fzero reaches 60 fps but here I play at 60 fps at mario64, this is fullspeed, better than on n64,60fps is nice

New Lakka update : Lakka-Switch.arm-2.2-devel-20181004171647-r28346-g2df642137.tar.gz

Here's what changed :
  • Updated RetroArch and a lot of cores to be on par with upcoming Lakka 2.2.2
  • The whole system (except the kernel) is now built as 32bit binaries (instead of 64bit previously)
    • N64 and PSX emulators are now full speed
    • NDS emulators are now faster (but not that much)
    • Dreamcast emulators should work much better aswell, needs testing (reicast was added, try this one)
  • New cores :
    • mupen64plus
    • reicast
    • picodrive
    • puae
    • fuse-libretro
  • Dolphin was lost in the battle and was removed from the system - if you want a 64bit image with Dolphin, ask me and I'll make one
Feel free to download it and test all the new and updated cores, all feedback is appreciated !

So, wait, in an effort to gain full speed Nintendo 64, we had to sacrifice Dolphin? Is that what I'm understanding?

I also assume the audio in the tweet clips was that of Bluetooth Speaker? As there was no mention of the audio being supported yet.

Thanks as always :)

Would the 32 bit change affect any other core?

so n64 is more important than dolphin?
this doesnt make sense to me
There are more core than just n64 which benefits from it.
Also I believe it will be switched to 64bit again when a proper arm64 jit get implemented.

So after spending 3-4 hours with the new Lakka update, everything is really good so far! Just a few minor things such as rewind crashes snex9x2010 and graphics in n64 games just go completely weird in the new core, such as Mario 64 (for me anyway) Paper Mario 64 has greatly benefited from the new core.

Good work and keep it up guys!
