After facing some delays, Steins;Gate Elite will finally be making its way westward, on February 19, 2019. It’ll be available on the PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4, the latter two of which will have special limited editions. Retailing for $89.99, it’ll come with the game, a hardcover book of the storyboard animations, a collector’s box, and a cloth poster. Nintendo Switch versions will have access to 8-Bit Sci Adv, while PS4 owners will get Linear Bounded Phenogram, both of which are side story adventures that have not been localized until now.

What exactly is Steins;Gate Elite? It can't just be the original VN with the anime's art can it?

An ultimate version of the game? Since I never got around to playing it in the first place, sounds like this is the one for me.

Wait... So switch get one bonus game, and ps4 get another? Hmmm....
And the PS4 (and PC) version arguably gets the far better story, heck it's written by the 999 dude so you know its good. The 8-Bit one is cute, too, but feels like such a weak comparison. Dunno why they split it between versions.

I already have it on Vita so I probably won't pick up the Switch version, and I think I'll just wait for the PS4 or PC version to drop in price. Hell Chaos;Child is already super cheap for PS4 on eBay. And that game isn't even a year old.

So you buy both versions.

It's stuff like this that makes me put off of the games entirely. Once again, greed ruined it.

Some people doesn't understand that the whole game in animated. The Anime only covers the true route, which is not even 30% of all the possible routes.
Meh... 50% of the game is common routes, then the anime covers a bit of many routes and then the true route.
I would say it is about 70% of all the game.

That said, a lot of interesting stuff is kept out.
Specially Faris... I would like to see Faris ending part animated.
