Nice old games. Just what the fans have been waiting for. Wohoo, great. Playing old games.
They're not old for everybody, as not everybody bought a DS/3DS or wanted to play them in a portable format. I've played a bit myself, but would definitely prefer reading all that text on an HD screen, be it Switch's or my monitor's.

Did that really stop you from playing? I never would've thought that would be a criterion to be honest. Interesting.

how about instead of remaking the same old cases based on the same old japan inspired but kinda also already outdated back in its own day court system, you reboot the series with new cases and a somewhat more grounded and realistic system than in the most recent titles?
where you don't have to prove 50 times that the witness is both unreliable or a liar (as is the prosecutor most of the time) but if you can't also deduce every detail about how things actually happened, your client still goes to jail no questions asked.

i mean, i love the series, but technically, its not really aging THAT well.

I meant console exclusives. You also have Sony exclusives that are on android but not on Xbox or on Nintendo. Those are all considered exclusives even when being on android or IOS. Everybody's golf, parappa the rapper, wild arms

As much as I love these games, for somebody who already played the original DS version, the only major draw would be seeing all of the new artwork. The problem there is that the HD characters kind of look like somebody just used the Waifu2x upscaler on the original sprites, and then maybe traced over it to touch it up a bit. If they're going to redo the graphics, I'd really prefer that they were all done from scratch. You can even see in the trailer how the promotional artwork of the prosecutors is much more detailed than the in-game versions right next to them. Why couldn't we get artwork of that quality at least?

That would be my problem. The graphics look like .. on a big screen because they are just not made for them. Zero effort - maximum profit for Cashcom. But to each their own. :-)

well it really doesn't make (or didn't make sense back in the day) but doesn't need to make sense to work.

I don't know if it is just because I played the pixel art versions of the DS as much as I did but that art style does not do it for me. I get almost the same thing I get from the modern PC and andrios updates of all those 8-16 bit era Square-Enix games. I see I am not alone either.

Relevant (people playing along at home the rest of the series from this guy is pretty good)

But yeah I remember playing one of them, had proven indisputably that my client could not have done it as they weren't there or anything. Was expecting to just be able to go "so long suckers" but no I had to solve the case as well.

Going have to agree about the art style. I don't think it is bad overall, but it cool be much better.

I would just get the first trilogy just to have it. I'm more interested in the 2nd trilogy.
