Any of you watching PSP UMD Videos? They have hundreds of movies and shows. I just posted about GBA Video in the RetroNX thread since that's what I use.

Found something from 2014 saying PPSSPP doesn't play them, but nothing since.

I tried it many times but it always ends on the black screen, does anyone know the real reason for this black screen boot ?
For me this looks like a serious issue which should get solved (if possible), an boot guarantee is mandatory, no one wants to try 30 boots in a row to hopefully has luck and get a successfull boot
I had the same issue, from SX to hekate to lakka and black screen. This with the official download on their website to sd root and no more instructions.
After testing differente downloads (maybe different version idk) and changing things, it worked.

As we are gonna be all banned probably, the competition between lakka and retroNX "for me" will be around gc and wii optimization (if this is possible).

Hope we receive sound soon, great work and incredible advances of this developers.

For people booting from sx os into hekate into lakka.

Sx os does a bunch of hardware config in not an ways similar to Nintendo/Linux which is bad.
The continous blackscreen might be because of that. I don't think a normal boot should take that long to boot.

So don't use sx os. No reasons to boot hekate with it too.

It’s always worked for me too in fairness (before I ditched SX, that is), but it’s hard to troubleshoot a CFW which is closed and with so much obfuscation.

obfuscation.... Sxos?... ( Not great.. For xecuter team)
Interesting
Learn a little more about these methods
The effectiveness of obfuscation is measured in terms of the effort required to program the disobfuscator, the execution time and the levels of resources required by the disobfuscator to produce readable source code.

Thus, the challenge of obfuscation is similar to that of encryption: it is about producing code that is sufficiently obfuscated to make any attempt at analysis futile because of the incredibly long computation times and the complexity of the processes to be performed. But technological evolution is such that the computing capacities of computers evolve rapidly, the duration of protection is short.

IV. The limits of obfuscation▲
The obfuscation of an application no longer allows to perform reflexive operations on the generic code: the reflection APIs will no longer work because the class diagram will be changed randomly by the obfuscator.

Debugging operations and the creation of traces can no longer be proposed on the commercial version of the application. Depriving the support of important tools to help users.

Security through opacity is a myth! Obfuscation protects the source code against intellectual piracy for a relatively short time. But it does not protect against hackers who want to exploit the application's security vulnerabilities.

The increase in algorithmic complexity and the modification of data structures increase the execution time. The design patterns chosen by the developer disappear and can be replaced by less efficient ones.

The quality (algorithmic) of the source code decreases considerably and can be a barrier to certification by third parties.

The call to external APIs (especially in Java) made by the name can NOT be obfuscated, and then give clues to hackers.

Disobfuscators carry out a statistical analysis of the obfuscation methods of obfuscators available on the market by presenting them with sources to be obfuscated and analysing the result after obfuscation. This work then facilitates the task of disobfuscation. This will require the use of homemade obfuscators that are probably less effective than those on the market. Hence the dilemma...

I really find the rendering of the xd gpd much better....
Even the photo gpd xd zoomed x10 the wood looks sharper than on lakka without zoom
