Hacking what to look at when buying a wii u?

I plan to buy a used wii u off ebay ... I want to install homebrew and backup loader on it... any things to look at so as to make sure it is hackable?
Are all versions and models of wii u hackable nowadays?

Yea all model and version are hackable if you can get a 32GB model with a gamepad, I got one a few months ago for $120, so don't rush into buying one.

I got mine from the pawnshop because I wanted first hand look at the scratches, nicks, etc, and I got a 6-month warranty in case it like "stopped working by itself" or something...

No, you just be paying for about the same price for 8GB/16GB as you would pay for a 32GB, why get a smaller size one.

Get the black 32 gig one... Got mine for $80 from Facebook Marketplace... Filled it up with 2TB HD of games.. My youngest son plays it every day... I still play Mario kart 8.. Occasionally & loved & finished all the Zelda games in HD 1080p... It's a great console.. I just hate the menu music!!.. & desperately want a black theme....

themes were attempted, but I think they failed for some reason. there's also extreme brick risk.

Yeah I've mentioned this before... & people from gbatemp said the same thing... Damn Shame though... Using a HD projector.. That white is like starring into the sun!.. Lol.. & that menu music.. Just is just so annoying hahaha.. I felt the same way about the original wii menu music... Oh well we can't have it all.. It's still one of my favorite consoles..

God damn, man. That's a steal. I hope it has a gamepad too, because without one it's useless. I got mine 2 weeks ago for a whopping 190€, but it had 5 Discs and 3 Pro Controllers. Definitely bid a bit too much there..

yeah, the gamepad is like over 60%, perhaps more, of the total cost of a wii u.

yup gamepad is included but shipping to my country is about $35 .... so less good deal but still ok imo

nah the gamepad is pretty tuff you should be fine without a screen protector ... but you will be stuffed without one ... you cant do settings without one
