Thanks to the support of our lovely subscribers on our official Twitch channel, we'd like to give back to the community. GBAtempTV followers and subscribers will be entered in a raffle to win an eShop voucher to buy a game of their choice on the Nintendo Switch. A second-place prize of eShop credit of $20/£15 (to be adjusted for currency of the winner's Switch region) will be offered, as well.

All you need to do to enter is to either follow or subscribe to the GBAtempTV Twitch account. A follow will count as one entry, while a subscription will count as five entries. Don't forget that if you have Amazon Prime, you automatically get a free Twitch Prime sub to use each month. (If you're already a follower, be sure to post in the thread below so we know who you are!)

The winner will be picked at random one week after the posting of this thread (thread went live on September 7th). If the winner does not have a Nintendo Switch or lives in a country where eShop credit is difficult to gift, other arrangements will be made. The first-place prize will be equivalent of $60 USD eShop credit, and second place will be $20, and if you prefer Steam/PSN/XBL, we can do that instead!

We'd also like to use this time to reach out to any potential streamers that would like to join GBAtempTV. If you'd like to be part of our Twitch Crew, please PM @Chary with an application of why you think you'd be an asset, and we'll be sure to review it. We're looking for individuals who can stream on their own, and with others, and have basic knowledge on how to stream to Twitch. Please be sure to include your Twitch/Mixer/YouTube profile, as well.

Second, I'm glad to see this because it means that focus and consideration for the twitch channel is being handled. I was actually gonna post about it and my thoughts, opinions, ideas for improvement but I didn't want to cause at the moment I was gonna do it, It felt like it would have been a angry letter and I didn't want that to come across as a negative thing. What I wanted to do was to share my thoughts on the channel and then suggest some ideas to help improve it for this community. I didn't quite construct the context to do so without sounding harsh so i just didn't with the idea of "It's not really my business, I don't want to cause problems" even though I started with "It's a community thing I wanted to be apart of and I should try to help."

I honestly not sure what to say because i usually think my post are ignored for various reasons I won't state but I guess the future will determine what I would do. But I'm glad to see this getting attention which I think hasn't had much since the twitch page was put on this site.

It's commonplace for us to create posts a while back and only publish them weeks or months later. There've been a fair amount of competitions as of late so I think this one's been on the burner for a good while lol.

When debating certain ideas or topics sometimes we keep threads in the staff section for a while. The initial idea came up around July, but we weren't able to get our usual three members together at one time to kinda do this due to schedule conflicts.

Second, I'm glad to see this because it means that focus and consideration for the twitch channel is being handled.

The channel is being handled and discussed on a weekly basis. We moved a bit of attention to the podcast as of late to grow that as well. These things are usually discussed in private, though, which means there's not really much talk on the forum about plans and ideas.

I'm not really sure I understand the reasons for keeping it private. Were there some reason why asking for help or community input or ideas wasn't the highlight sooner? I just was curious. I dunno what the plans for the twitch channel are, I thought it was for the website and it's members, maybe to share some games community has recommended or have some fun playing together and having a different perspective of interaction that the potential monotony of texting has.
