Earlier this Summer, we saw the launch of Forgotton Anne, a puzzle-platforming adventure game, developed by ThroughLine Games. Its publisher, Square Enix Collective, has announced that the game will be seeing an official release in Japan, via a port to the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version was also confirmed to make its way west as well, later next year. Forgotton Anne will be an eShop digital only title, and will cost $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99. Our Reporter, @Prans covered the game in his official review, giving it a 7.5/10, and summarizing it as: "Forgotton Anne’ has a little bit of each of cartoons, platformers, interactive visual novels and an overused mechanic but a whole lot of originality in a refreshing title."

The story-driven adventure, set in the beautifully hand-crafted 2D cinematic Forgotten Lands, launched on console and PC back in May. Its forthcoming release on Nintendo Switch means it’ll soon be available on all three major consoles, alongside the PlayStation®4 entertainment system and Xbox One family of devices, including the Xbox One X.

Forgotton Anne reveals the hidden dimension where all mislaid items from the human world – the odd socks, the lost letters, the missing toys – are sent to linger. It’s the job of the Forgotlings – creatures formed out of all of these missing items – to help the trapped Anne and Master Bonku find their way home.

More games that I've never heard of, nice.
The game looks great but like with many games I will have forgotten about it when it finally releases. Why tell us about a fame half a year before we can play it? That's one thing I hate about today's game market

Gotta love these reactions. One doesn't like that he hasn't heard of it before and the next one doesn't like that he is hearing it before release.

GG, guys. Thanks for proving the adagium that you can't please everyone! *insert slow clap*

You want to tell me that you will have forgotten Anne by then? She will be mad for sure.
